We are artists and researchers, not ideologues. Our goal isn't to promote any political agenda, but to illuminate the past through music and historical documentation, encouraging critical thought. HISTORY UNVEILED, WITHOUT CENSORSHIP We believe that true lessons from history can only be learned when we confront all its aspects – both light and dark. Through our metal renditions of authentic historical songs from diverse cultures and eras (including Yugoslav, German, French, American, and others), we aim to show how ideas, ideologies, and emotions were shaped through music. This includes songs that were, in their time, associated with problematic or dangerous movements. ART AS HISTORICAL DOCUMENT The lyrics we use are authentic historical records. They were, unfortunately, a part of our past. Our musical interpretations don't glorify or promote these ideologies. On the contrary, we decontextualize and transform them into a new form, using them as historical documents that help us understand the allure, yet also the destructiveness, of certain narratives. We neither wrote these lyrics nor participated in the wars and crimes, nor are we responsible for the history of humankind. Our responsibility is to draw lessons from it. THE CONTRAST OF CULTURE: A BULWARK AGAINST BARBARISM Crucially, our albums are not solely focused on conflict. Alongside these explorations of historical ideologies, you will find a rich tapestry of lyrical, operatic, purely patriotic, and traditional songs vital to a language, people, and/or culture. These pieces serve as a powerful testament to the enduring beauty and complexity of human expression – a direct contrast to barbarism and a celebration of the enduring power of culture itself. They demonstrate the full spectrum of human experience and the richness that stands against destructive ideologies. #NoToHate – A MESSAGE OF PEACE AND ANTIFASCISM At the heart of our project is a powerful antifascist message and a call for peace. Every video in this series, regardless of the song's subject matter, prominently features symbols of peace (☮️) and flowers, along with the clear message #NoToHate. Our album simultaneously includes potent renditions of authentic antifascist songs, serving as a stark contrast and a guide toward the values of freedom, equality, and humanity. AN EXPERIMENT AND A CONFRONTATION WITH CENSORSHIP This is an experiment. We believe that past censorship has actually contributed to a shallow understanding of the appeal of dangerous ideologies. If our content, which clearly condemns hatred and offers a comprehensive view of history, faces removal or censorship on platforms, we'll consider it proof that the same mistakes are being made today.
