Storms of Evermore is more than just music—it’s a battle cry from the heart of one man who never gave up on the dream.
From cornfield skies to thunder-lit dreams, Storms of Evermore echoes with the soul of the Midwest and the spirit of American rock music. Every lyric and riff is forged with pride, purpose, and relentless drive. Created by solo rock artist Edward Halterman, the project delivers a timeless, innovative sound straight from the heart of a proud American patriot.
Edward’s passion for music sparked early—singing in choir at age 11 and picking up a guitar at 17. From the start, he made a bold decision: to avoid learning others’ songs in order to preserve a style that was completely his own. That fearless commitment paid off—his sound is fiercely original, raw, and undeniably unique.
Over the years, Edward rocked the stages of Hollywood’s legendary rock clubs and the South Bay music scene, performing in iconic venues and recording hundreds of original tracks. As frontman of Groove Sun Regalia, he hit a career high, opening for the legendary band Ambrosia—a performance he still calls the greatest of his life. That night sparked major label interest and led to a prestigious industry showcase, with the band poised for national breakthrough.
At the same time, Edward was nominated for “Lyrical Content of the Year” by the Los Angeles Music Awards—a nod to his songwriting and creative vision.
But just as the dream was within reach, everything unraveled. The band suddenly disbanded, leaving Edward to face the heartbreak of watching it all slip away.
Refusing to let that moment define him, Edward built a successful career in real estate—but the music never left his soul.
Now, Storms of Evermore rises from the ashes. Fueled by experience, resilience, and raw emotion, Edward writes, records, and performs with the same fire that started it all—only now, his voice is stronger, and his message runs deeper.

For me, music has always been more than sound—it's emotion, story and a soul set free. Storms of Evermore is a solo rock project born from that belief. Through every lyric, every chord, every breath, I strive to reflect the truth of life as it really is—beautiful, brutal, and everything in between.
While many of my songs carry a light-hearted, uplifting, even humorous tone, beneath the surface lie deeper currents: pain, loss, regret and resilience. Yet, woven through the darkness is something enduring. The pulse of hope. The echo of faith. The quiet strength of love, and a light that refuses to go out.
This isn’t just a rock project—it’s a personal journey through the storms of life. A reminder that survival comes with scars, but also transformation. It’s about being honest with the dark while still reaching for the light. Life doesn’t always play fair—it breaks us, tests us, and changes us. But it also offers beauty, strength, and moments that remind us why we keep going.
My sound is rooted in rock—but it doesn’t follow trends or chase approval. Shaped by a Midwest upbringing and a deep respect for American values and musical roots, this is authentic rock music—raw, real, and unapologetically personal. Every track is forged in truth—my truth—and if they resonate with someone else’s struggle, they’ve already done their job.
So if you're walking through something hard… if you're carrying something heavy, know this: you’re not alone. The music might not fix it, but maybe it helps you feel seen. Maybe it reminds you that there’s light ahead, even if it’s just a flicker.
