Wild Camping

Hi and welcome to our channel. We're Mike and Catherine and these are our videos from the coast, to the trails and the mountains of Northern Ireland and Ireland. These adventures started small as a way for us to have some time and peace for ourselves. Over time the adventures have grown, we've explored more off route relying on a map and compass to guide us. We've invested more in our outside education and equipment... though learning through trial and error has also been a common thread! Over time our adventures took on the theme of Walk, Talk, Brew. What started out as something initially for Catherine and myself has now grown to include others. We're happy to share our experiences and to invite people to join us on an adventure. We believe that spending time outside exploring nature is good for our mental, physical, as well as our emotional health and wellbeing. We hope that these videos inspire you and maybe one day we'll meet up for an adventure.

Ghost Towns and Mining Camps of Nevada and California.

I decided to start this channel out of pure enjoyment of exploring the old Ghost Towns of Nevada and California and the back country where they are found and, just to get the feel and sense of what the lives of those who lived there was like. Then a friend of mine who is into photography and had similar interest about the history and what it took to live back then decided to join, So that's how it all started...this channel is not about the paranormal... only history and exploring... we upload a new video every Sunday.

Chef & Camp Cook

For nearly 50 years I\'ve had two culinary careers -- one that paid the bills and the other imagined. Growing up in Fresno and Bakersfield in the 1960s, I attended Camp San Joaquin in Sequoia National Forest. To me the cook and his assistant had the best job. Where else could I pursuit my passion for cooking and my love of the mountains at the same time, I reasoned? Lord willing, I\'ll continue to pursue my love for camp cooking. Add in a railroad or two, and you have the perfect retirement vocation for this retired Navy chef. MSCS Steven C. Karoly, USN, Retired
