This project has been in development for over seven years, evolving from ideas that first took shape when I worked as the program director at The Hawk 97.3 FM in Joliet, Illinois. Back then, we saw the impact of giving local talent a platform, with unsigned bands growing their audiences exponentially after regular airplay.
