Serving my community since 2003 at Marion County Fire-Rescue revealed to me a first-hand need for quality firefighter apparel. My mission at Sofield Leather is to focus on functionality over aesthetics. Every item is engineered with this in mind, which is why we use the finest quality English Bridle leather from Wickett and Craig . Our hardware used is heavy duty brass and stainless steel, which can withstand the rigors of this line of work. Making sure that each piece that leaves our shop is ready to be used in the line-of-duty is of upmost importance. We also make our other pieces with the same design philosophy in mind. Using beautiful imported Buttero Italian leather from Conceria Walpier. Sofield Leather has also served an important role in the lives of our children. My wife and I have always had the desire to teach our boys a strong work ethic, and this family-owned business has been pivotal to reinforce this value in our home. Although our competitors may offer a similar product, our leather gear can withstand the test of time.
