It is my view that these have their place bringing in what is written in 2 Peter 3: "Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying "Where is the promise of His coming? "" It is becoming common place that people when told that Christ is returning soon to be replied to with, "people have been saying that for years" It is my view that if the church would have held to the beliefs taught by Jewish sages as well as some early church fathers, some of this mocking would never had occurred.
