We had it all, property, a house, stuff...lots of stuff and debt. $1000s of dollars worth of debt. We were constantly broke, mentally bankrupt and had little time for each other. Something had to change. We began to sell off unneeded possessions to pay off our debt and utilize the resources we had to the best of our ability. We started to live a more simple life. join us for the journey. This is Our Little Homesteading Life.

Urban homesteading with simplicity in action. We homestead in a suburban neighborhood backyard with square feet, not acreage. We garden all year long, raise chickens and meat rabbits, build our own structures, and preserve a lot of our own food. And we're bringing you along on our journey, to show you how we do it, how you can do it, and just to have fun. Praise God and pray often!!
A blend of old school farm live with some high tech trading.
Projects around the farm and garden that we hope will make it a completely closed loop of food production for our family.

Bio: We are James and Courtney from Collins Country Farm. We live on a 60-acre farm in Kentucky in a farmhouse that we built ourselves! We love DIY projects, homesteading, hunting, gardening, canning and farm-life! Our goal is to “live off the land” as much as possible and enjoy this land that God has blessed us with. Happy homesteading!
"HomeSteadingFarm" is the Greek word that refers to the act of taking ideas and turning them into reality. What defines my approach to preparedness is the focus I put upon the method by which the ideas are translated into "things".

Welcome, friend! Ryan and I have been homesteading since 2013, but we're starting our NEW homestead from scratch in the north woods of Minnesota. We're currently living in a 960 sq foot hunting cabin and are doing our best to live off our land - gardening, raising chickens, hunting, and foraging. Come along for the journey and learn some self-sufficiency tips along the way!

A place to share and learn prepping, homesteading, and general good living skills. Many of these videos were found on a less… hospitable platform under a creative commons license, and relocated by me to rumble where they can live on without supporting that other place. My Fact or Fiction videos are created by me to give us a break from the stress, and bad news once in a while. So feel free to take a break every so often, and check them out too. you can find them under the channel "NotMadFacts".
Feel free to come along on my journey to acquire homesteading/self sufficiency skills. Learn with me; the good and what not to do haha
My wife, Laura, was raised on a family farm. I was raised in a suburban town next to a city. We purchased these 2 acres with the house and barns in 2020 and have been working to improve it and add areas where we can grow our own vegetables and animals. We would be grateful if you subscribe and follow along with us on our journey.
