Hello, my name is Ken. I was licensed in 2009 as KC9OYS Technician, then K9KMS as a General class. I've always had an interest in POTA and SOTA stations, and always have the radio on while traveling, but I've never done a POTA or SOTA activation myself. Now I'm retired and living a widower's life, so it's time to do some of the things on my bucket list. I customized a 2021 Colorado ZR2 diesel and Intech Flyer Chase camper for overlanding and HF/VHF/UHF/APRS operation from anywhere. Catharsis through gaming. I’m an Aussie content creator who’s been gaming for decades at this point and am now sharing that experience with a wider community. This channel is for my video gaming related videos. If you want to see some of the more esoteric stuff I get into, there’s a second channel over (here). And, for the streaming side of things, (this) channel captures the process of play that generates the background content that makes the videos. I’m a completionist platinum-hunting gamer, which seems to sit at odds with my mostly contemplative and meditative gaming style. While min-maxing is fun, I’m more about just rolling with the punches, letting mistakes happen and just muddling through. It’s fine to switch off the hyper-competitiveness and just play.
