Once I established myself in the world of YouTube, I had a profound realization: No one knows about spirituality. It sounds strange, but after being immersed in spiritual texts for years, I had no idea how deeply the spiritual world had been corrupted. I began to see that many people claiming to be “enlightened” or “awake” were falling for the oldest trick in the book—the core warning of the Yoga Sutras: confusing the false self with the true self, getting lost in the trap of the natural world. To my horror, I realized that many people believed spirituality was tarot cards and crystals—when in reality, true spirituality is none of that. At its foundation, true spirituality begins with learning to understand the difference between prakriti and purusa. In this life, to be spiritual is to be in your body, because your body is the shakti—the living expression—of your soul. For this reason, exercise is the foundation of all spiritual understanding. It is through the body that we activate the bandhas, awaken the chakras, confront our karma, challenge the negotiations of the mind, and dissolve the delusions that separate us from God. After 5 years on YouTube, and two very successful global shadow work challenges, Paula and I have taken all my knowledge and experience and meticulously packaged it in to Fusion Body Studio. I have taken deep philosophical theory, spirituality, and anatomy and morphed it into modern day exercises assessable to any person of any level of fitness …. AND ALL IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME!
