This is an EARLY WORK IN PROGRESS TEST BUILD on the Shooting range. The Shooting range is called Training Grounds to be clear. Training Grounds will also be updated with the Campaign alpha(Coming Soon), beta, and full release. On each release it will be updated with new content and polish. Corbman is still adding a lot of stuff! To anyone wondering, Corbman plans on porting Live Fire as well when they do the multiplayer portion of this mod which will be after the campaign release. The only other thing they have planned for this mod is Firefight / Spartan Ops type experiences which will come last. When you play this mod, you will encounter PLACEHOLDERS or VERY UNFINISHED ITEMS. If it feels or looks completely Unfinished, it will likely be replaced or updated soon. No need to worry! Mombasa Streets (h100) - An early prototype version of h100 from Halo 3 ODST, officially known as Mombasa Streets. This hub map features a very early version of the city and features 2 objectives and multiple cinematics linking to the other 2 missions available in this demo. Underground (sc100) - An early version of the map sc100, later known as Tayari Plaza in the final release. You play as Buck looking for a way to escape an infested underground. Some of this appears to have eventually been used for l200 (Data Hive) in the final version of Halo 3 ODST. Rooftops (sc110) - An early version of the map sc110, later known as Uplift Reserve in the final release. Your squad reunites on the rooftops but must fight their way out. This appears to have ended up being the basis for sc140 (NMPD HQ) in Halo 3 ODST and features some very early cut cinematics too. It originally used the ODST weapon lockers instead of the new Reach ammo boxes and didn't have all the features that modern Firefight does, it was also missing a few things from the campaign version of that area like sound scenery and acoustic sectors for the indoor areas that have now been added to the Digsite version. A holdover that was kept are the covenant shield barriers that block off access to the rest of the map which were commonly seen across ODST's campaign. One of the reasons the map may have been cut is because the AI struggle to pathfind in some areas and may remain rooted to the spot until engaged. NOTE: Currently the Kodiak has some bugs where it only works with certain controller button button layouts. Siege mode doesn't seem to work with keyboard controls yet. It is being looked into! If you want to play the specific Firefight Fiesta gametype we used in the demo featured at HCS Worlds, you can find that gametype in the fileshare of ChaosBxR on MCC. Missions 4 Nightfall The mission involves Noble Six cooperating with Jun-A266 (Noble Three), in a series of stealth-based encounters at night, the purpose of which is to recon Covenant Forces in the colloquially named 'Dark Zone'. They first eliminate a few guards posts, and then encountering a native creature of Reach, the Gúta. They then meet a few militia troopers attempting to recover smuggled UNSC weaponry at a waterfront. The militia troopers gave the Spartans information about a hydro plant further into the dark zone. There they discovered a Covenant pylon, which was generating the dark zone. Jun placed a det-charged inside of it to avoid detection by the Covenant. After proceeding further into the dark zone and eliminating the Covenant troops in the area, the two Spartans discovered a Covenant landing zone. Kat receives the visual and tells them to retreat so they can prepare for the next day. Missions 3 Oni: Sword Base Noble Team is deployed to Sword Base after a Covenant corvette begins attacking the facility. Due to the sensitive nature of the facility, orbital rounds are prohibited, forcing Noble Team to go groundside to defend the facility. Two Falcons drop Noble Team around Sword Base. After Kat-B320 and Noble Six clear the courtyard outside the facility, they are ordered by Sword Control to proceed to the main gate. However, they are stopped by a pair of Wraiths, which Noble Six eliminates with a Target Locator. A Pelican then drops off a Warthog, which Kat and Noble Six ride to reactivate a COM array to contact Command and an anti-air gun to help clear the skies. After completing their task, they meet up with the rest of the team at Sword Base. They fight their way up through the atrium to the top floor. There, Noble Six helps Emile destroy several Phantoms and Banshees over the airbase making it possible for a pair of Longswords to move towards the SDV-class heavy corvette, lock onto it, and have it destroyed by a MAC round from orbital defenses. Noble Team is called back into Sword Base by Dr. Halsey, who reprimands Carter for not pursuing the Sangheili at the Visegrád Relay. She explains that the Sangheili were most likely part of an artifact retrieval strike team, and that the notes stored at the Visegrád Relay held very important information. Kat then hands over the data module she retrieved from the station. Carter and Halsey exchange barbs, and Noble Team leaves as Dr. Halsey examines the data module. Winter Contingency Welcome to BRAVO Team you and NOBLE Team, a team of Spartan super soldiers (who, unlike many other humans you'll encounter, cannot die in firefights) fly over the side of a mountain and identify a downed relay outpost and a distress beacon below. Your first objective is to investigate this beacon. Take a moment to mess around with your look/aim and other control settings. You may want to crank your look speed up a bit to medium or high for the Heroic campaign.
