Romans KJV
bible readingIf you do not have conviction, then Romans can definitely strike a cord in your soul that may very well make you question everything you thought you knew about the Lord and savior Jesus Christ. This book will take you into deep contemplation about truth and faith. It will show you both the mercy of God's freedom from the law and the flesh, as well as challenge you to a higher purity of Christian living. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Rom. 1:16) Let this book redefine you and how you walk with confidence in to the light of Christ. For we should be bold as lions. We can do this impossible task through the power of the word of God and faith in His son Jesus Christ. Please get a cup of coffee, a note pad, sit down, pray, and slowly consume this wonderful knowledge of our king! Amen67 views 1 comment -
2 Timothy KJV
bible readingThe gift of God is with you, do not neglect it (2 Tim. 6). This is done through prayerful meditation on the word of God and soldierly disciple of obedience to Christ (2 Tim. 2:3-4, 15). Seek only His approval with sound doctrine and wisdom by the application of the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16). Men will lie, cheat, accuse, and bear false witness against you. Yet, this should not deter you from your path with Jesus, as he once suffered and His words strike at men's hearts. So, be faithful to your elect calling as the Lord has planned, and He will over come your fears by faith. There will come hard times, but God has already conquered them. Likewise, be faithful when ministering to be temperate with your words towards others. There are enough false shepherds, so do not give into vain people pleasing conversations, but give the truth. Lastly, remember to stand strong with your brothers and sisters, and do not abandon them in times of need (2 Tim. 4:16 ). Amen33 views -
Philippians KJV
bible readingBe bold to speak of the Lord, for whatever affliction that may come from your willingness to speak the truth is only reasonable and there is no glory in fearing man for all they can do is take your life. Instead fear the one who can take both life and soul. For the Lord suffered on the cross for all. Is it too much to ask of you to suffer for him? These sufferings and sacrifices are what give us treasures in heaven and they are what glorify the Lord to be a witness for others to find deeper value in Christ. It may be scary to preach the truth, but if that's what it takes for a soul to receive the knowledge of the gospel, is it not worth the risk for others' salvation? You have the power through the Holy Ghost to make a difference in others lives through the word of God to help others seek Christ. They crucified Christ because of what He said, so do not be surprised if you are chastised by those that are against Christ. However, the Lord will protect you, and if it is your time to depart from this life remember that to die is to be with the Lord (2 Cor. 5:8, Rom. 14:8). Remember that these acts take humility, and the Holy Spirit will guide you in what to say and what when to say it. So, rejoice in the Lord (Philippians 4:4-7).58 views 1 comment -
Colossians KJV
bible readingThe book of Colossians is a wonderful description of the love that should be held between the saints in Christ. Also, it is a warning to not go astray into vain conversations about things that don't necessarily give edification to the body of Christ (the church). These conversations on the edge may lead away from the true depths of Christ work in you. It is one thing to know things about God and the heavens or spiritual knowledge. However, it's another thing to know God and what He demands of you in your walk with Him. These are the most fruitful conversations so please first grasp the knowledge of a heart that is in tune with the messiah before digging deeper into the limits of spiritual knowledge. Lastly, another warning is given that these conversations may even lead to the demands of man, pharisaic mindsets, and legalisms that contradict the grace of the Lord and Savior Jesus. His redemption on the cross is our saving grace not our works or keeping of the law. Let us remember this. Amen49 views -
1 Thessalonians KJV
bible readingThessalonians is a book on the faith of the saints to take comfort in the fact that God will restore all that is lost. If you are burdened by the loss of a beloved saint, just remember that the Lord promises us that the ones that have gone on to the grave will rise again with the coming of Christ. However, do not take this message the wrong way. We must remember in order to rise with the Lord we must first have been in the Lord and accepted by his grace and mercy. I simply do not want to give false reassurance. This is exactly why we all must come to the knowledge of the reality of hell and everlasting life. Christ is not a joke, He is truth and salvation. Only through Him can a man be saved from the destruction that is to come. This is why we all must carry the great commision in our hearts to spread the gospel to all mankind. For the gospel is the only way to have assurance from the tragic fate of hell. Likewise, always remember that we are not the final judge, and at the last moment in a man's life God can still be revealed to them and they can receive salvation. This does not mean that we as saints, or anyone for that matter, should live lives contrary to the word of God and expect that the Lord will just forgive you at the last second of your life. That would be a very insecure future. Why leave your salvation up to chance? Instead seek the kingdom first while there is still time. Then, if you receive the grace of God now, you can begin to live a life, a true life, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Lastly, remember that God is a just God, and that He has all power and authority and knowledge to make the final judgment of a man's heart. He will not fail to do the right thing. With that said, if there is anyone in your life that you grieve that you believe had no relationship with the Lord then also take comfort in the fact that the Lord proclaims that when He comes, He will wipe away all the tears, then we will be with HIm in glory (Rev. 21:4, Isaiah 25:8). Wait for the Lord, and He will make all well with you. Amen.43 views 1 comment -
2 Thessalonians KJV
bible readingDo not be tricked, for there are many that have come to deceive, and those that project fear and have pride within them know not God. Do not let these kinds of men creep into your consciousness because we are free in Christ and his truth has set us free. We must build up our strength as believers to not fall for foolish lies. The word of God is plain and simple that we put our faith in the Lord first and foremost. A healthy Christian life is not worrying about every conspiracy and every false flag, but it is to faithfully let God change our hearts, to come against evil with love, and to do all things in charity. Therefore, make sure to be wise when people speak of dates and times, as it is said that even Christ himself knew not the time of his own return (Mark 13:32, Matt. 24:36). Most of the time when people say they know the Lord is coming back on such and such day, there turns out to be an agenda. This is a sad reality, because such false doctrine causes many to fall away and causes the lost to never seek the glory of God. So, brothers, sisters, please take heed to search the scriptures and pray for yourself, so that you will not fall into the devil's schemes. Maintain your patience with the hope of the coming return of the Lord and have faith that you will know when this time is near by faithfully reading the word of God. No one can do this for you. This hope in the King's return is what has the power to overcome all fear. Amen.50 views 1 comment -
1 Timothy KJV
bible readingWe must do all things in godly order. In this book we see how to run a church. How to handle disagreements, abusive leadership, and how to live as a man that seeks to gain the authority given in church leadership. The law is not wrong when used correctly, but if used wrongly can cause division. In all of this stay in prayer, praying for your leaders. Paul declares to keep women from having prideful leadership over men and do not let any leader use their leadership for ungodly power. Likewise, to desire an office in the church is a good pursuit, but with such a pursuit, a man seeking such a position will need to be tested. If they are to young pride can creep in. If they are not in control of their family, how can they keep in order the house of God? In this manner, we can not demand from the church more burdens than is necessary. Meaning, that if there are widows and orphans, if they have families, the families should take up there godly duty to care for such as their own flesh and blood. This is how ministries can be freed up to do the work they are called to, to preach, to teach, and to help those truly with no other means of help. If we love our leaders, and we love our churches, we should not burden them with unnecessary demands, but help them to fulfill Gods demands. This is accomplished by being godly, self sacrificing, and ready to take up the burden of leadership when the Lord's will calls for it. Amen43 views -

Philemon KJV
bible readingA short letter to a man named Philemon about his very own servant who has now come to the faith thanks to Paul's witness while the servant and Paul are both in prison. Yet, Paul makes it clear he is a prisoner of Christ. Paul makes it clear to Philemon that the once delinquent servant is now ready to come back and serve not out of necessity but out of love. Seek how this book is both a perfect example of what Christ did for us, and how we might just be the same as the servant coming back to his master. Amen64 views -
1 James KJV
bible readingJames is a book on the hard truth of walking with Christ Jesus. This life is not meant to glorify yourself, instead it is intended to glorify the Lord and Savior through faith and the application of your faith through righteous deeds. This is the power of God to show his hand in your life. We do that by going out of our way to help others and to walk in a distinct manner that is separate from those that live in this world. "For our conversation is in heaven" so let us act like it too. May this book bless you and your understanding of a life with Jesus Christ. For He is worthy of this calling to present yourself as holy before others. We have nothing without our Father. Amen53 views
