The W.I.T.C.H. Cartoon Playlist

W.I.T.C.H. gained new knowledge of their sorceress foe Nerissa, a former Guardian and one-time holder of the Heart of Kandrakar. They also gained knowledge from the Oracle about the old Guardians, who they were and what happened to Cassidy, the former Guardian of water. Meanwhile Will discovered her lightning and animating of objects is called quintessence. Nerissa targeted the Guardians in Meridian and they fought. Nerissa uses a "divide and conquer" strategy to get to the Guardians, by going after Taranee. At school Taranee got into trouble when she was caught with Uriah and his gang including Nigel. Afterwards Uriah broke the statue of "Old Man Sheffield". Also Taranee decided to turn herself into a "bad girl" and go out against her mother's will by sneaking out to see her boyfriend Nigel. In the end, Nigel liked her better the way she is and Taranee had to face the consequences when she was discovered seeking home by her mother.

When Caleb discovered that Blunk took the key he was supposed to leave behind in Meridian for Vathek, the girls returned to Meridian to return the key before Cedric and Phobos discovered Vathek was a spy for the rebel army. They planted the key on a general, Raythor and he, instead of Vathek was be thrown into the Abyss of Shadows. In the B-story, Hay Lin decided to create for Caleb some new clothes to help him blend in on Earth.

The Knights of Vengeance attacked Meridian and began targeting those, who betrayed their former master's loyalty. Back on Earth, the Guardians were called to another realm, Kandrakar, and learnt of their new status as the Guardians of the Infinite Dimensions, after the Veil's lifting. The girls noticed a sudden change in Cornelia's powers. Cornelia was still angry with Caleb for remaining on Meridian after Phobos' defeat. In the B-story, Cornelia had a crush on Taranee's brother, Peter Cook. He was uninterested in his little sister's friend until the end of the episode, when Cornelia, though not in Guardian form, retained her Guardian figure. The other girls told Peter she's Cornelia's older sister, "Lilian". Also, Will gave Cornelia a kitten, but Cornelia gave him to the actual Lilian, who named the cat Napoleon.

In Meridian, Elyon was at the apogee of her powers and was excitedly preparing for tomorrow's Coronation but Phobos and Cedric were talking out of her earshot: there's something afoot that Phobos wasn't telling his sister: the Coronation was moved forward a day so that Phobos could drain Elyon's powers to prevent a rebel rescue. Meanwhile, in Heatherfield, Caleb finally figured out with the Guardians' help a way to get his men across the Meridian Plains unseen - Portal - and immediately commenced the attack after Cornelia sensed Elyon was in danger! Indeed, in Meridian, Phobos revealed to Elyon his true self, scaring her, then tied her to the throne in order to take her powers. Even worse, Lord Cedric, who lured Elyon into "coming home", revealed his true self, the people in the portraits of the royal family were goblin-like Meridian aristocrats siding with Prince Phobos all along, as did Miranda who revealed her true identity as Phobos' servant as well as her true spider-like form. However, the Guardians, the Rebels, Matt, Blunk and some of Phobos's Guards who were converted by Tynar, began the invasion. The final battle was about to begin. The Guardians and Caleb's troops were winning until Phobos, who managed to steal some of Elyon's power, came and turned the tables on them but just before he could take the Heart of Kandrakar, Elyon (who was rescued by Cornelia) arrived and turned the tide of the battle. With Elyon's help, Phobos was defeated and imprisoned along with Cedric and all of his monsters in the Mage's chamber in the Infinite City, but the Guards were forgiven and Elyon became the ruler of Meridian. In the B-story, Irma gives Mr. Huggles to Hay Lin. Caleb and Cornelia shared their first kiss.

It was Will's birthday and if there's one thing she did not want, it's a party. The girls managed to throw one anyway and everything was going swimmingly until Cedric showed up at City Hall looking for birth certificates for a certain teenage girl, Prince Phobos' long lost sister on Earth. The girls snuck away from the party and went to City Hall, where Taranee claimed that the only thing missing is 13-year-old female birth records. They battled Cedric until he picked up some documents off the floor and fled, saying he had all he needs. In the B-story, Yan Lin gave her granddaughter the Map of portals. In the C-story, Martin saw Hay Lin throw food out the window. She was really giving some party food to Blunk, but she couldn't tell this to Martin so she said that it is a family tradition to throw food out the window for good luck. Martin then told the other kids that if they do it too, their wishes will come come true (the more food, the bigger the wish) and they all threw food out the window. Doughnuts were hailed on Blunk, who was very happy when he saw that it is food.

Phobos and Cedric started a rumor about the Seal of Phobos, only to trap Caleb with a sand monster called Sandpit (wild sand that sucked in himself all those who approached and him) to find out whether there is a spy in the castle or not. In the B-story, W.I.T.C.H. had a performance at the school, but after discovering Caleb was in danger, they created Astral Drops. After the real girls left, the Astral Drops ruined the performance. The Guardians rescued Caleb and turned the sand in to glass, making it possible for the villagers to live in peace and for the children to play on the sand-glass.
