Videos of me playing Megabonk go here. Some will have a specific goal, some will be edited, some will not, and I don't really have an episode to 'end it on' so whatever the last episode uploaded is, until another is uploaded, consider it the 'final episode'.

Megabonk Episode 1: Audio Test episode
Anterograde GamingThis first episode was/is an audio test, the whole session is really, trying out how my audio sounds after taking the advice from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcLUJ3bR4Yk I finally fixed my settings in the third episode so if the breathing sounds heavy it's because I'm using a headset that has a really bad trait of picking up every little thing in the room. I had to do a little bit of extra adjustment to my audio that wasn't in the video I watched to get that to work though, mainly putting in a noise gate and adjusting the volume on the system (windows, I mean) side of things. Anyway this is also an introduction to a sort of evergreen series of me playing Megabonk on this channel. I'm not considering it a 'proper' let's play or anything, I'll just simply record videos of it when I feel like playing it and upload them over time. The videos are pretty large uncompressed though, so if you do want to record stuff like this you're probably best off getting an external hard drive or something if you want local backups, if you don't want to have them take up massive amounts of space on your local drives. This game is really good by the way. It's rather cheap in the Steam store and I cannot recommend it enough if you like either Risk of Rain OR Vampire Survivors. The controls are very simple and it's very easy to play on a controller if you don't feel like dealing with KBM, also, one thing to note is that it has a vibration slider for controller in case you're like me and don't like vibration as a function. The rest of the descriptions for these won't be nearly as long btw, just saying. - This is a reupload from YouTube. This is not Rumble-exclusive content.9 views -
Megabonk Episode 2: The Bananarama Supreme
Anterograde GamingSecond Episode... banana comes in clutch, typical. Megachad and CL4NK, demonstrated characters, victory for both. A haiku was attempted, but not achieved.9 views -
Megabonk Episode 3: Bush Defeated and Athena Unlocked
Anterograde GamingWe fought the bush, and the bush didn't win. I want to make it very clear that you shouldn't go around shaking suspicious bushes irl. Suspicious bushes irl often contain spiders, ants, or wasps, and seemingly never contain unlockable characters. Strange, I know.8 views -
Megabonk Episode 4: Beating T2 Forest with Athena
Anterograde GamingMontage at the start of the video of my failed runs, most of the clips are from the first failed run and after that I got kinda tired of clipping tbh and shortened it. In the future I'll probably just show the start and end of failed runs but hopefully the editing practice I got in tracking that moai head with the little emoji thing will come in handy at some point, somehow. 🗿2 views -
Megabonk Episode 5: Robinette Forest T1 and T2 victories
Anterograde GamingPretty standard runs with Robinette, beating T1 and T2 Forest first try with Robinette. Not a bad character by any means, so far I can't think of a character that isn't good, not my favorite but she can definitely pull in a win pretty handily. I still don't really know if the gold gain was doing much but then again oddly gold gain is something I kinda just don't notice. As you'll see in some of these runs I basically forget outright about chests half the time since charge shrines/moai/merchants are so much more advantageous to be on the lookout for... and also because you sort of have a decent source of 'freebie' chests in the miniboss encounters and challenge shrines? 🤔 Honestly I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that it's possible to more or less forget about chests until the end of an area. But it's a thing that I keep doing.
