Mythic Tales of Tsushima

Yamato, the enigmatic musician, weaves a tale that blurs the line between man and myth. He speaks of Kojiro, a figure whispered about in fear and awe—a demon, or perhaps just a man with a dark ambition. Kojiro seeks to challenge Jin, but first, Jin must face the five deadly Straw Hat Samurai who have sworn their loyalty to him. With resolve in his heart and the weight of legend on his shoulders, Jin accepts the challenge, ready to carve his path through each warrior who dares to stand in his way. After receiving information from a peasant, Jin Sakai discovers that a musician named Yamato has been recounting the story of the Heavenly Strike, a fabled and lethal technique. Upon finding Yamato, Jin realizes that the musician has been attacked by Yasuhira Koga, a formidable warrior and former retainer of the disgraced Clan Yarikawa. Yasuhira is seeking revenge against Lord Shimura. As Jin continues his investigation into the Heavenly Strike and its original master, Shigenori, he uncovers clues that lead him to an ancient dueling ring. Tadayori Nagao, Tsushima's greatest archer, was gifted a legendary set of armor by the Kami Hachiman for his skill. When pirates attacked Azamo Bay, Tadayori, wearing his mythic armor, defeated them with his arrows. He later died peacefully, but his armor vanished. Legend says his descendants guard it, awaiting a new warrior to defend Tsushima. Writings mention a "Violet Crown," a meditation spot in northern Azamo filled with violet chrysanthemums. Long ago, Clan Yarikawa samurai were the island's most skilled swordsmen, with each generation's lord mastering the deadly “Dance of Wrath” technique. Its greatest master, Lord Tokiasa Yarikawa, led a rebellion against Clan Shimura, using the technique to kill many, including Lord Shimura’s family. With Clan Sakai’s help, Shimura defeated Yarikawa, who was executed but vowed to seek vengeance from beyond the grave. Centuries ago, a farmer named Gosaku discovered the armor of a fallen samurai. When the Red Hand bandits invaded Tsushima, Gosaku donned the armor and, guided by the samurai's spirit, defended his village, ultimately defeating the bandits and ending their reign of terror. After Gosaku's death, the villagers safeguarded the armor, each keeping a key to ensure it remained hidden. Now, as new threats emerge, the farmers claim to see Gosaku's spirit seeking a new champion to defend the island.
