The deed is done, the job is finished and now we must pack up the Athearn Blue Box SW1500s that we made into Southern Pacific NW2s 1335 and 1337. They're in excellent operating condition with Digitrax DH126D decoders.

Final Reveal of the Athearn Blue Box F7 and three SD40-2 Olympic Special Edition, all Southern Pacific. The F7 number 6441 is a pre-1981 standard model in the Southern Pacific Daylight scheme. The SD40-2s are mid-1980s version. All of them have dual sugar speakers with the SD40s in a subwoofer configuration and the F7 in long speaker cabinets. The decoders are Tsunami2 EMD with the F7 using a decoder mini-buddy. All them have nano-led truck lights and smd cab lights.

Here is a locomotive that I found to be very interesting during the Santa Fe Era This locomotive paint scheme was the result of a failed Merger attempt between Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway known as Santa Fe for short and Southern Pacific Railroad during the 1980s however the ICC known as the U.S. Interstate Commerce Commission stated that Santa Fe and Southern Pacific couldn't merge because of the ICC denying it here is the link to prove my data https://utahrails.net/sp/sp-atsf-merger.php anyways Athearn Trains and part of the Genesis line Athearn has really recreated a long lost famed failed Merger during the Santa Fe Era now this model is a old gen meaning it has the features of incandescent light bulbs and 1st gen soundtraxx tsunami 1 sound decoder I'm currently working on a other SD45-2 known as the bicentennial locomotive once that one is finished then I will come back and start on this one to overhaul.
