This Podcast is THE BOOK OF JASHER in twenty-two episodes. It is published under the pseudonym, Yahsher Jasher, who is Alan Lewis Silva as editor and contributor. This book is based on the R. H. Charles' translation that Alan Lewis Silva adopted into a prose form and re-translated some words. THE BOOK OF JASHER is directly referenced twice in the Holy Bible, and referenced indirectly at least once in the New Testament by Saint Paul, which account of Jannes and Jambres occurs in the THE BOOK OF JASHER and not in the Old Testament. Josephus also describes in his Antiquities of the Jews various element that are found in the BOOK OF JASHER and not in the Old Testament, such as Moses at one time serving as a general in in the Egyptian army. REFERENCES TO THE BOOK OF JASHER FOUND IN THE HOLY BIBLE: Joshua 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 2 Samuel 1:18 (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.) 2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
