Even though it's obvious that they are sometimes just plainly +1 , but this is not always the case. There for i don't count the gold that lies on the floor. Also i will continue to count from which (The Don) playthrough was left behind at. Which bassicly means i already collected: 269k gold. Which will mean that this playthrough will quickly finish the cheevo. This also goes for any cheevo that wasn't completed in the Don's playthrough ^^ These cheevo's: Gladiator , Archer , King Middas , Big Game Hunter , Hardworker , Idiot , Weaponsmith , Jester Due note: At time of recording the GOLD cheevo's were broken. And so where the Gladiator cheevo + Archer. Another Note: How to get Gladiator + Archer cheevo's legit? Train Sword , Axe , Staff on 1 char Train Bow & Crossbow on 1 char And to be able to achieve that you will need to safeguard all LP. And you must get Level 10 sword or Bow before joining the Order. Fincher only teaches Sword in Chapter 1 & Chapter 2+ only to members of the 'Don'. I cannot say for certain whether this is also the case with the hunters. So how to get the cheevo's legit? 1: Complete all quests [but place harbour town in favor of the Don] 2: Safeguard first 10 Levels and train it into Sword Fighting [Lv.1 to Lv.7] via Edgar (Harbour Town) & then [Lv.8 to Lv.10] via Fincher [must be done before chapter 2 stats] 3: Join the Warriors of the Order to get access to Staff. 4: Safeguard the 2nd 10 Levels and train it into Axe via Ukkos or Staff via William [Lv.1 to Lv.7] & [Lv.8 to Lv.10] via Inquisitor Mendoza. 5: Finish the game and you should be around Lv.29 [safeguard those 9 Levels too] 6: Bruggleglitch 1 level and max out staff or axe [which ever remained] 7: You got Gladiator! Via 3 paths doesn't count :) I had to find that out the HARD way :) Unless it got fixed ofcourse! As to the archer you could bassicly do the same to ensure it's do-able on 1 char for i am not sure whether SAM is the only hunter that can max out archery! But in case he is! 1: Complete all Quests 2: Safeguard first 10 Levels & train bow [Lv.1 to Lv.10] 3: Join whomever 4: Safeguard the 2nd 10 levels & train Crossbow [Lv.1 to Lv.10] 5: You should get the cheevo's Bonus note: This is the 'official' way the game was meant to be played Cheevo wise. 1: Archer - Warrior of the Don (Bow + Crossbow) [Lv.20 Required] 2: Gladiator - Warrior of the Order (Sword + Axe + Staff) [Lv.30 Req] 3: Mage - Master Mage of the Holy Flame (Magic Bullet , Fire Crystal , Frost Crystal) [Level 30 Req] But doing them on 1 char is NOT easy , especially Gladiator and Mage. Those killed mobs still counts towards the TOTAL amount of Beast Slayer & Big Game Hunter cheevo's! This also goes for GOLD that's re-collected. Weapons that are re-forged! Jester spells that are re-used! ETC! Another note: Why didn't the IDIOT cheevo trigger? Because i manually resetted it in the background! Because i was stunned that you could acctually get the IDIOT cheevo that way. Which nullified the the previous 2 of the Don's playthrough. So it will trigger later for me. I believe it was inside the Mages playthrough. Because it really took me offguard :) And since i didn't chapterize [1/3] yet , i wasn't sure whether the other IDIOT progress was recorded or not. So to be sure that all 3 were , i RESETTED the cheevo via Steam Achievement Manager to re-check if it REALLY worked to get IDIOT cheevo by letting critters fall to their deaths :) And yes it does. Downside! Goodbye EXP! So it's better to fall to Death yourself 3 times. But these things sometimes happen! It happened 2 times with me in the Don's playthrough & atleast 1 time in this playthrough :) I recorded each playthrough after one another , so there was no time to check what my cheevo process was at the time of the 2nd playthrough and 3rd playthrough. But just so you know , the cheevo aint broken! Instead of 1 i just need to kill 3 extra mobs to get it :) So 6 instead of 3 :) And that's fine , it was worth 'the test' Why wouldn't i know what would be recorded or not? Because there were some episodes that i had to redo :) Either because i forgot to record or because of to much afk time during recording and sometimes because i tested shit out [like figuring out if Idiot really counts with Critters] Bonus Note: Apples give free Strength! 50 Apples gives +5 Strength [+1 strength per 10 apples] But it only goes to +5 , after that it adds nothing. If you beat him , he will refuse to partake in the arena , which could mean that you are stuck with that quest. Perhaps the Jest spell can undo this. So if you decided to 'follow' him to the 'Temple Ruins' you have a few options! 1: Pay him 50 gold so that you can fight him in the arena and regain 40 gold back. [thus lose 10 gold] He won't have the 50 gold pieces on him when you fight him in the arena and win! 2: Fight him but lose and the Arena should still work! 3: Fight him but win and get yourself a jest spell to perhaps undo it. You can get a free jest spell from Olga in Harbour Town. But i am unsure whether this will force him to partake in the arena again :) Another Note: If you loot Craig after the arena fight then you can forget the 100 gold! Even if you only take his weapon on the ground , it will nulify the reward. As Craig would say: Since you took his equipment. And it might appear as a good deal , but remember that the merchants don't pay the full price. So all in all his equipment might give 60 gold in value! + the 25 gold that he has on him. So i highly advice not to take anything , unless ofcourse you don't want to buy the sword fragment from him then you have no choice but to steal his stuff. And if you steal 1 thing , you might as well go all in and get it all! Whether you take 1 item or all! He will cancel his 100 reward for beating him once you start to lose anything from him! So the only way at the moment to get the Gladiator Cheevo 'legit' is by doing the following. Due note though: You cannot use Rings nor Amulets to Lv.10 skills! It has to be trained manually! But here it goes. 1: Do as much quests as possible and become Lv.10 [before entering chapter 2] This will mean that you have to complete the Don's Camp quests + Tristan's Farm + Harbour Town. There is a secret exit way out of Harbour Town , which has a 'hidden quest' connected with it. But make sure NOT to join a side , since this will trigger Chapter 2. Just a quick note: To get the Gladiator cheevo you MUST join the Warriors of the Order. 2: Train your first 10 levels into Sword Fighting via Edgar [Lv.1 to Lv.7] & then Fincher [Lv.8 to Lv.10] If you entered chapter 2 , Fincher will only train Warriors of the Don! So this is why i state DO NOT join a side. 3: Join the Warriors of the Order [You could aim for mage , but you need the mage playthrough for the MAGE achievement , there for i note Warrior of the Order is the MUST join side for this cheevo [Gladiator] 4: Continue the Game and Train Staff & Axe to Lv.10 Staff via William & Inquisitor Mendoza and Axe via Ukkos 5: Once beated 99% of the game , use the Bruggleweed Glitch to get the last Level! And train that last level in whatever remains standing! 6: Gladiator Cheevo unlocked! Due note: Scattering them through-out the characters doesn't count! Atleast at time of recording it didn't :) So here is a tip on how to get the 3 cheevo's! 1: Join the Warriors of the Order for Gladiator [as stated above] 2: Join the Don to max out the Bow & Crossbow 3: Join the Mages to max out Crystal Magic. Gladiator & Mage requires Lv.30 Archer requires only Lv.20 which gives you enough space to add the rest of the skills + perhaps Strength or Dexterity [but not both] So doing it this way you might need a 4th playthrough to get the last stats [Sample: Strength] Unless you add a few more levels via Bruggleweed Glitch! Even though it only required [3/3]? Because i resetted it after i unlocked it earlier on in this playthrough! To double check whether or not mobs really count when they fall to death. You might not notice , but there are sometimes moments where i have to redo an entire episode :) Either because i forgot to press the Record Bottom or due to to much AFK :) or due to making a mistake [Yup i make them too :)] And by mistakes i mean BIG mistakes [Sample: Training Strength when i need Dexterity which thus have to be 'nullified'] And in one of those episodes [that i had to redo] i unlocked the cheevo , which forced me to use Steam Achievement Manager to RESET the progress of that cheevo. There for instead of [3/3] for me it's [6/6]. Looking for the cheevo in particular? I think it will be unlocked in the 'Mages' playthrough [thus the last playthrough] So just to ensure i know that the IDIOT cheevo is collected in-game but not in recording , i will still mark them , even though i re-collect the cheevo later on :) But i can confirm with 100% guarenteed that IDIOT also works via MOBS :) Aslong as they don't survive the fall it will count towards the IDIOT cheevo :) Another Note: You can get Free +5 Strength via Apples. Consume 10 of them for +1 Strength! There for you need a total of 50 Apples to get the MAX strength! 60 apples if you want to make sure :) Bonus Note: When it comes to Sara. There are 3 options that you can take [just like the paths] 1: Tell Jan the Hunter Sara needs a safeplace , which will get her to Rhobart's Farm to help him out! To explore all possible 'options' With the Don's men i got paid 400 gold! With the Order playthrough i did it for 250 gold! And with the Mage , i will give the Don's men bassicly the middlefinger :) Thus all 3 options in this 'quest' are explored :) But if you are recording Risen for Guides , etc it's always best to take the best outcome :) But then atleast there is a channel out there that explored all possible options!
