X4 Foundations : The adventures of Chop Suey

I stopped recording and playing the old game because my microphone was malfunctioning. While waiting for my new microphone to ship, I decided to play a new game. My new microphone arrived today. I decided I wouldn't record the start of the game and just start from after I acquired the Hyperion. I decided to sell the Hyperion and use the money to buy some scouts. I also intend to buy some freighters. My plan is to acquire the Dart and the Xperimental Shuttle and use them to run missions.

Bought more Nodan Vanguards to scout sectors. Bought blueprints to build Container storage for my Headquarters in preparation for storing materials for research.

Found the Ministry of Finance Wharf and bought 2 Vulture Sentinels. Continue Mission "Satiate Boso's Curiosity." Buying and transporting materials to build storage for Headquarters.

A pirate confronted my freighter near my Headquarters. Unwilling to delay research, I decided to take a risk and told my freighter to escape and continue on its way to drop off materials needed to finish construction of a container storage module at the HQ. Fortunately, the deployed laser towers distracted the pirate and the freighter was able to drop off its cargo and escape. As I was expect I will need to shoot down mines, I upgraded the Discoverer to have 2 pulse lasers. Most of this video consist of ordering my scouts to clear the fog of war.

Cleared the mines and freed Kal, acquired the Dart. Repaired the Dart. Restocked laser towers on the Vulture. Invited to visit the "Grandmother."
