Our world is constantly trying to squeeze us into its mold. Our faith, our values, and our principles will be regularly challenged by an environment that is often contrary to ours. Daniel was a young man who was thrust into a different culture with different values that conflicted with his relationship with God. But he never wavered in his faith. He knew who he was in the Lord. He lived in Babylon but he would not allow Babylon to live in him. May the same be true for us in our world!

Daniel 1:8-21 Faithfulness Rewarded by Pastor Gary Hamrick
Verse by Verse Bible StudiesThis is a Biblical principle: if we live a life that honors and glorifies God, He will take care of us, bless us, and use us for His glory. Daniel and his three friends certainly found this to be true. When faced with multiple challenges and difficulties, Daniel remained committed to the Lord. As a result, the Lord took care of him, the Lord blessed him, and the Lord used him for His glory. The same is true for us. Daniel Chapter 3 Verse by Verse Faith Under Fire by Pastor Gary Hamrick
Verse by Verse Bible StudiesWhat hardships are you willing to endure for the sake of your Christian faith? When the rubber meets the road, will you be a person who is bold for the Lord or bashful about Him? These are the kinds of questions that confronted Hananiah, Azariah, and Mishael when they were asked to bow down to an image of gold. How will you handle similar situations when your faith gets challenged? We have a lot to learn about FAITH, COURAGE, and UNWAVERING DEVOTION from these three men. *Amos37 strongly recommends this series of verse-by-verse studies on the Book of Daniel. Today, you will see King Nebuchadnezzar try to change God's Word. Never a good thing. This chapter is rich in symbolism, prophecy, and typology, which all foretell the future world empires and eventually the Final Kingdom on Earth. Daniel Chapter 4 Verse by Verse Who's King of Your Life by Pastor Gary Hamrick
Verse by Verse Bible StudiesFrom the moment we were born God has been pursuing our hearts because He wants a relationship with us. The faster and farther we run from Him, God runs faster and farther still! King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon understood this firsthand. God had revealed Himself to him in profound ways over a period of 30 years, pursuing Nebuchadnezzar, until he finally surrendered to God as King over his life. What will it take for us to come to a similar place of surrender? What will we have to go through before we finally humble ourselves and submit our lives to Jesus as King and Lord? This is the topic of today’s study with Pastor Gary from Daniel 4. Daniel Chapter 5 Verse by Verse (When God Weighs Us) by Pastor Gary Hamrick
Verse by Verse Bible StudiesThe Bible says that God weighs our integrity and motives; in other words, He weighs the heart (Prov. 21:2). What does God see about our hearts when He weighs us? In Daniel 5, God weighed the heart of King Belshazzar of Babylon and found him “to be wanting” (or lacking). Pastor Gary looks at four different things that were lacking in Belshazzar’s life so that we can learn from his example and take inventory of our own hearts. *Amos37: Today, we see that the second stage of the Gentile Kingdoms in King Nebuchadnezzar comes to power through his weak-kneed son, and the Medo-Persian Empire is born. This is the silver portion of the image. Video Credit: @Cornerstone Chapel Learn more about Cornerstone Chapel: http://www.cornerstonechapel.net95 views 1 comment -

Daniel Ch 7 & 8 Verse by Verse (The Coming Antichrist) by Pastor Gary Hamrick
Verse by Verse Bible StudiesThe Bible predicts that a political, charismatic world leader will come onto the world scene known in Scripture as “The Antichrist” (1 John), or “The Beast” (Rev), or “The Man of Sin” (2 Thess. 2). He will unite the world under his influential leadership with a temporary peace plan, only to break it and demand that everyone worship him as God. But the Lord Jesus will return and overthrow him by the splendor of His coming and throw the Antichrist into the Lake of Fire along with the False Prophet. What are some of the signs of our times that Daniel prophesies about the Antichrist? Follow along in today’s study through Daniel 7-8. Daniel Chapter 9 (God's Goodeness Leads to Repentance)
Verse by Verse Bible StudiesWhat is your view of God? Is he a loving, merciful God or an angry, unforgiving God? How you view the Lord will determine whether you approach Him when you sin or whether you avoid Him. Daniel became broken and contrite before the Lord because He read the book of Jeremiah where God revealed Himself as a merciful, loving Father. That’s who God is, and that’s why He is approachable when we sin too. Find out today about what “repentance” means and how we can draw near to God. This period is the most documented period in the entire Bible. The Book of Revelation, Chapters 6 through 19, is essentially a detailing of that climactic period. One of the golden keys to understanding the times which we live in and what the Lord God has pointed to as completing His divine plan. Here at Amos37, we understand this study to be one of the key insights that can help you understand God’s overall plan and the distinction between Israel & The Church. Review and study. https://amos37.com/daniels-70-weeks/ Here, those 70 weeks are planned for Daniel's people (Israel and that holy city is Jerusalem!) God’s outline will be accomplished in 70 prophetic weeks. If you miss this then you can never understand Bible prophecy. This is so crucial that it must be understood. Six things need to happen on God's task list for the Jewish people and the holy city of Jerusalem. God will quickly bring all these to pass in the period we call Daniel’s 70th week or the Tribulation period.70 views -
Daniel Chapter 10 (Spiritual Warfare and Prayers that are Hindered)
Verse by Verse Bible StudiesEverybody knows we need to pray more. But few of us actually do. In Daniel 10, we learn some important things about “the other side of prayer”. What happens in the heavenly realm—the unseen spirit realm—in regards to our prayers? Did you know that there are angels and demons who battle in the heavenlies when we pray? In addition to the spiritual warfare in the heavenly realm, Pastor Gary shares four additional things that have the potential to hinder our prayer life as well. Join us in Daniel 10 for today’s study. *Amos37: One of the rare looks behind the Heavens on Angels who battle over dominion and the souls of men. Prayer and Fasting are mentioned in many places in the Bible, but this looks behind the curtain of stars and planets. We serve a great God!
