We are an old-fashioned church that desires to preach the timeless truths of the Word of God regardless of whether or not the world changes around us. We sing the old-fashioned hymns and psalms and focus heavily on the importance of personal evangelism (soul-winning). Our church is family-integrated, meaning parents are encouraged to sit in the service with their children, toddlers, and babies. We believe it's important for children to hear the Word of God from a young age and to be kept safe by the supervision of their parents. We also provide comfortable Mother Baby rooms with TV monitors streaming the service where mothers can care for their children in privacy without missing out on the service. ------ ABOUT OUR PASTOR Pastor Jonathan Shelley married his wife, Keri, in 2009 and they have five children, Clayton, Jaxon, Abi Jean, James, and Eloise. Jonathan was raised in a Christian home and saved at age five. In 2016, Jonathan moved to Faithful Word Baptist Church to train to be a pastor. In 2018, Pastor Shelley was sent to start Pure Words Baptist Church in Houston, TX. In 2019, Pastor Shelley took on the pastorate of Stedfast Baptist Church in addition to Pure Words Baptist Church.
