What happens after we die?
MMystic Symbolism ExplainedWhat happens after we die? The most honest answer is to simply say "We don’t know". But this does not mean there are no clues, or that people have not tried to find out. So this video provides a summary – with references that you can look up later – of some of the things people have found. Perhaps the one finding that is universally accepted is that we have an immortal soul that never dies. This is why some people call this event "transition" and not death, because we are moving to a new stage of our existence. It is a stage where we leave our existing body behind and with it go all the illnesses, all the pain, all the infirmity and disabilities, all the worry. There is no hunger, no thirst, no fear, no grief or sorrow. There may be good reason to dread the march of old age, but prolonging life in a damaged body seems almost cruel, given that there is no reason at all to fear death itself, because death is release from a worn out body and the worries it brings. But where do we go? And what does the term "Bardo" mean? And what happens there? We have used three excellent sources that have provided us with more information of what happens next. - A book called The Vision – written by W B Yeats using the automatic writing of his wife Georgie - Perception recall - Studies of people who have been able to regress to Past Perceptions via hypnosis - The Tibetan Book of the Dead [Bardo Thodol] We may not 'know' what happens after death but these sources give us a very good idea. ======================= CREDITS REFERENCES The following links can be used to find out about the sources used in this video and to obtain far more information and examples Death We have a section on our website describing death and providing numerous quotes and examples that may be of help https://allaboutheaven.org/concepts/death/122 Walt Whitman A biographical description and many extracts from his poems can be found using this link https://allaboutheaven.org/sources/whitman-walt/124/main Bardo We have a section on our website describing the Bardo state with examples and quotes that may be of help https://allaboutheaven.org/concepts/bardo/124/main Tibetan Book of the Dead [Bardo Thodol] We have a section on our website about this book with examples and quotes that may be of help https://allaboutheaven.org/sources/tibetan-book-of-the-dead-bardo-thodol/124/main The Vision of Georgie Yeats Georgie Yeats was the wife of W B Yeats. In other words, the donor doesn’t actually die but can ‘possess’ the body of the person who is the recipient. https://allaboutheaven.org/suppression/organ-transplantation/155/main Video and website examples on Dying Our video about dying can be found using this link to our website entry on the same subject, where many examples of these experiences have been provided https://allaboutheaven.org/observations/types-spiritual-experience/dying Video and website examples of the Near death experiences Our video about Near Death experiences can be found by following this link to our website entry on the same subject, where many examples of these experiences have been provided https://allaboutheaven.org/observations/types-spiritual-experience/near-death More background in the context of Reincarnation Our website provides a great deal of background on this subject within the context of reincarnation.
