THE INVISIBLE MAN APPEARS 1949 (aka WHO IS THE INVISIBLE MAN?) - Japanese Version of HG Well's The Invisible Man, first of three classic Japanese films in the series, set in the post-WW2 1940s, with English Subtitles. Jewel thieves become interested in an invisibility formula invented by Professor Nakazato and want to use the invention to snatch a valuable diamond necklace. If you like the classic Universal horror films, you'll like this one.

INVISIBLE AVENGER 1954 (aka INVISIBLE MAN in Japan) - Second film in the classic Japanese Invisible Man Trilogy with English subtitles. A version of the HG Well's story similar to Universal's "The Invisible Man's Returns" in that the Invisible Man is on the side of the law. A car traveling on a Tokyo street runs over something unseen. The driver gets out and sees a dead man suddenly appear under the car. A reporter investigates, and discovers that a local band of criminals is being stalked by an invisible man. If you like the classic Universal horror films, you'll like this.

THE INVISIBLE MAN VS THE HUMAN FLY 1957 (aka INVISIBLE MAN VS INSECT MAN) - Japanese Sci-Fi Horror Classic based on the HG Well's novel The Invisible Man. Third film in the classic Japanese Invisible Man Trilogy, with English Subtitles. A ruthless serial killer with a peculiar method of stalking and killing his victims comes face to face with a police officer turned invisible by a scientific experiment. Police refer to the killer as Insect Man for a good reason. If you like the classic Universal horror films, you'll like this one.

THE GHOST CAT OF OUMA CROSSING 1954 - (AKA Kaibyô Ômagatsuji) Japanese with English Subtitles. An actress disfigured by a rival wanting the same role is murdered and returns as a ghost cat to seek revenge.

THE VAMPIRE MOTH 1956 - (AKA Kyûketsu-ga) Japanese with English Subtitles. A professional model is stalked by a bizarre, unknown man wearing a hideous Vampire-like mask. The police seem unable to corner him.

THE MANSTER 1959 - An American journalist stationed in Japan is given a mysterious injection by a mad scientist, turning him into a murderous two-headed monster.

BLACK CAT MANSION 1958 - (AKA Bôrei Kaibyô Yashiki) Japanese with English Subtitles. The descendant of a cruel and vicious samurai returns to the town where she was born, only to find that a cat who is possessed by the spirits of those murdered by the samurai is trying to kill her.

THE GHOST OF YATSUYA 1959 (AKA Tôkaidô Yotsuya Kaidan) Japanese with English Subtitles. This classic Japanese horror movie directed by Nobuo Nakagawa is based on an 18th-century novel written by Nanboku Tsuruya. A woman revenge-haunts her Samurai husband after she dies a miserable death.

THE GHOST CAT OF OTAMA POND 1960 (AKA Kaibyô Otama-Ga-Ike) - Japanese with English Subtitles. Two lovers lost in the mountains find themselves in a mysterious forest pond, and it seems as if some kind of force doesn't want to let them leave.
