For car lovers some exceptionally unique cars are going up for auction.

Their sleekness and styling is breathtaking.

But what makes them truly one of a kind are the stars who once owned them.

Matthew Lamoure is the managing director of Artcurial Motorcars, which is hosting an exhibition, Retromobile, in Paris.

"I'm in the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Hard-Top Coupe but this one is very special because this one has been customized by George Barris, the most famous customizer in United States for star cars and this one has been done for Ringo Starr."

The former Beatles' wheels could fetch as much as 80,000 euros or nearly $109,000 U.S. dollars.

There's also Steve McQueen's 1940 Packard Type 120 cabriolet that has been part of a Belgian collection for over 20 years.
And Artcurial's senior specialist, Pierre Novikoff, shows off the stately 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud once owned by French film star, Brigitte Bardot.

"When she arrived at the Rolls Royce workshop in Paris, she received flowers and chocolates and I think she wasn't a normal client but this car was very well known, yes."

If you've got 360,000 euros or roughly $490,000 you should be in a pretty solid position to outbid others.
