Around one hundred Russian Santas march through the streets of Moscow to collect presents for children with cancer who will have to spend New Year's Eve in a clinic.

The march was open to anyone willing to put on a Santa hat.

Moscow volunteer Vadim Kovalyov, dressed as Santa says, "We want to bring them a holiday and support them, collect toys for them here in central Moscow so they will realize that they are not alone and there are people who support them and who want to be with them at this difficult time."

Next week, the presents will be taken to children in one of Moscow's cancer clinics.

There, the volunteers will also put on a holiday show for 150 young patients.
