Today I’m talking about how doing the ice bath is the most peaceful moment of my day. Also, talking about plans for channel Contant and how I’m gonna be posting. Going forward. Hope you enjoy!

Temperatures are going up outside and it’s probably just about time to start plugging the freezer in every day to make sure the water is cold enough. Yesterday my spot was about 55° and today I had freshwater in there which was colder but over time it will get warmer.

After doing the ice bath, there is a 24 hour mood improvement that happens that I’m realizing. The next morning after having done the ice bath I can always tell that my mood is a little bit better than if I didn’t. All these are factors that hopefully will lead you to take the plunge!

It’s been a few days since I didn’t ice bath. Over the last week only two or three times because I had a cold before that.  But I know the stress reduction benefits are number one right now so time to get back on it!!!

This message is for those who have tried the ice bath once or twice and never went back because it was miserable. There’s a really good reason to try it for at least a week or 10 days before you decide not to do it. Take a watch and hopefully I can help!

I was thinking today that when you do your ice bath it gives you those great chemicals and clarity and focus. That experience leads you to have more productive work times and exercise times. Also the clarity and focus is great when you’re talking to other people like your family because it’s easier to give them your full attention. And the lower stress means you can focus better on what you’re actually doing. I can’t say enough about how ice Beth is helping me build good habits

Some addictions are good, like ice baths! Once you start I think it takes about 10 days to get totally addicted. It’s still cold but you can’t live without it.

Today I give an update on how the after dinner dip worked. I’m hooked and plan to do that every day now.

Today is day 26 of ice baths and I have a few thoughts on doing the hard thing by not thinking before hand!

I noticed this in balance 25 years ago and really didn’t know how to attack it. In the last couple years I’ve been doing tens of thousands of push-ups every year and I thought it would just take care of itself. But it really hasn’t so I decided to start a regiment that should conquer the imbalance after just one week I am amazed to see there’s already a major difference and I’m very encouraged to continue. And I’m 52 years old!

Feels pretty cold in there today but it’s great to overcome the apprehension barrier and be able to just dive right in. Decreased to two minutes today because I’m planning to get in for another two minutes at 6 PM. Hoping that splitting into 22 minutes sections for now will give me another boost in the evening which is when I start getting a bit drowsy.

Day 23 Ice Bath, Today I did a late cold plunge and i was missing it! Feeling stress for business situations. But a good cold plunge later and I'm all better :) 3 minutes to a cleaner head!

Once I get into the ice bath it’s not nearly as bad as when I first touch the water or when I’m doing other stuff but knowing I’m going to be getting into the ice bath. I need to work on that flight instinct and focus on the benefits and not on the pain.

When it’s cold outside and snowing there is definitely an intimidation factor increase. But once you get into that water it’s all the same. The water starts to calm everything and the energy focus and resilience to the cold comes into play.
