Mike in the Night E514 – Mental Health Round-Ups: The Next Phase Of The Government’s War, Biden family and associates received more than $17 million in illegal payments from Burisma and other foreign nationals, Google testing journalism AI – NYT
Under the pretext of public health and safety, the government could exploit mental health care to target and imprison dissidents, activists, and individuals on government watch lists.
If not addressed promptly, this could lead to an alarming situation where government officials freely violate citizens' First and Fourth Amendment rights.
The alarming process has already begun. In various communities, police have been granted authority to forcibly detain individuals based solely on their own judgment of potential mental illness, even when those individuals pose no threat to others.
For instance, in New York City, individuals may be forcibly hospitalized for exhibiting "firmly held beliefs not congruent with cultural ideas," showing a "willingness to engage in meaningful discussion," having "excessive fears of specific stimuli," or refusing "voluntary treatment recommendations."
These programs, supposedly designed to address homelessness, become more concerning when combined with advancing mass surveillance technologies, artificial intelligence-driven programs that track individuals by their biometrics and behavior, mental health sensor data monitored by government agencies like HARPA, threat assessments, behavioral sensing warnings, precrime initiatives, red flag gun laws, and mental health first-aid programs meant to identify potential threats to public safety. This combination creates a dangerous environment that punishes so-called "thought crimes."
Federal officials are even exploring ways to include "identifiable patient data," such as mental health and behavioral health information, into their surveillance toolkit.
These practices bear eerie similarities to the gulags of the Cold War-era Soviet Union, where dissidents and political opponents were labeled mentally ill and confined to psychiatric hospitals, subject to inhumane treatment.
In the United States, veterans and activists are increasingly being targeted for expressing discontent or opposition to the government's policies. Red flag gun laws, civil commitment laws, and the pathologizing of dissent are all part of a disturbing trend where the government silences and disarms those who challenge its authority.
The government's misuse of mental health as a means to neutralize critics and potential adversaries is deeply concerning. By granting such power to government agencies, courts, and law enforcement, citizens' rights are threatened, and dissent is turned into a punishable offense.
We are witnessing the dangerous evolution of legitimate government responses, such as the war on terror, drugs, illegal immigration, and COVID-19, into tools of control, compliance, and surveillance. If we do not question, criticize, and disobey when necessary, we risk losing the foundations of a free and just society. The time to act is now before civilization itself faces dire consequences.

Food Prices Out of Control ! At this Rate people cant Afford to buy Food By 2020, Buying Food on CC
Posted on Jan 20, 2015
My Opinion : We are living in a time where food is the cheapest to produce in most of human recored history , As more and more people use Credit cards to buy food it may lead to a potential disaster when these comfortable interest rates go up ! People using Home lines of Credit as ATM Machines will be in for a Rude Awakening !
but um why i'm making this video is because i'm noticing that the price of food is really going up and the second thing i'm noticing when people are buying food is they're all putting it on credit cards and they play that that that card like oh it's for points uh i'm getting point half of those cards are canadian tire cards it's all crap you might as well go and buy something that can entirely save canadian tire money on your canadian tire or your hudson's bait card at 28 interest so i'm just talking about i think people i think there's going to be more because the price of oil is dropping commodities keep going up even though the price the price of producing food has gone down and transporting food has gone down dramatically in the last month uh it's still becoming more and more expensive to buy the food even though like i said it's it's costing less to make the food more than ever in the last five years it's cheaper to produce the food now and with the gmos this [ __ ] gmos they put in our food they said that's supposed to produce more food cheaper and grow larger quantities
yeah and how does that work so dairy went up 6.8 percent uh beef beef and steak and meats went up 10.9 percent um so i was looking at this eggs went up like seven percent uh there's something else that went up pretty high and i was really shocked bread went up five percent i just i'm just saying this that i'm just ranting here and talking about this because i see a lot of people like when i'm in the cash out check a lot of them are really struggling a lot of people here in vancouver put up this big thing like they're the greatest thing that ever lived they won't talk to you they'll they'll they'll they'll walk in front of you in the lineup if they have to to show that they have this this uh entitlement over everybody but i i see a lot of people struggling here and it's pretty sad you know that you know and a lot of these people seem educated too and all i don't know what's going on with jobs in the educated sector because i'm not educated once again that's why i had to open my own business why i've owned my own businesses pretty much since i finished high school so anyways this is mike martin's here at mike martin's channel i just wanted to say hi and put that out there about the price of food going up big time anyways thanks for watching bye
Food is in a sharp incline and it's going out of control. Gas goes down !! Food production goes down ? Transportation of food goes down ? So now what . Why is food so expensive ??
Food costs are largely determined by the time and resources it takes to do all of the steps required to get the product from the farm or manufacturing facility to your local store. And like everything else on the market, supply and demand also plays a part. Here's the skinny on why some food items are so expensive.
A more expensive price tag usually indicates higher quality, but this isn't always the case when it comes to food products. Brand name foods are often produced by the same manufacturer as generic or store brands, but the brand names cost significantly more. This is because brand names need to advertise and market their products, and these costs are built into the price of the food. Generic brands rarely advertise, so the savings are passed along to the customer. Advertising and marketing in the United States is a major expense -- a full page print ad in a national magazine can hit five figures. And production costs for a TV commercial usually runs hundreds of thousands of dollars, which doesn't even include the cost of air time

One Target Canada store manager told CBC News that sales at his store should be offering discounts of 90 per cent on its final day and that prices will be slashed by up to 98 per cent in the last two hours.
Some Target locations may remain open after the final date to continue fixtures sales. As part of the company's liquidation process, everything must go in the stores including shelving, lighting, and office supplies.
Target Canada's three distribution centres and Mississauga, Ont., headquarters have already been shut down.
"We are pleased with the results of the liquidation sales to date and the speed at which we have moved through the wind-down process. We want to once again thank all Target Canada team members for their hard work and great adaptability through this process," said Aaron Alt, Target Canada CEO in a statement.
Target Canada was granted court protection from its creditors on Jan. 15, claiming it couldn't make a profit for at least another five years.
The retailer originally suggested that it would stick around until mid-May.
Many of Target Canada's roughly 17,600 employees will stay on the payroll past April 12. Workers are not getting severance, but the company said it would continue paying them their average working hours until mid-May.

The Power of Connection: How Talking to Strangers Boosts Happiness and Eases Depression
Human beings are social creatures wired for connection and interaction. Unfortunately, in our modern world, many individuals struggle with loneliness and depression, leading to profound effects on their mental health and overall well-being. Surprisingly, research has shown that engaging in conversations with strangers can be an effective and accessible way to enhance happiness and alleviate depression. In this article, we will explore the psychological and neurological basis behind this phenomenon and discuss practical strategies for making meaningful connections with strangers, enabling individuals to lead happier and more fulfilling lives.
In recent years, the prevalence of loneliness has reached alarming levels, with people feeling increasingly disconnected despite technological advancements that were meant to bring us closer together. Loneliness and depression often go hand in hand, causing a downward spiral of negative emotions and reinforcing feelings of isolation. The negative consequences of loneliness can manifest in various ways, such as weakened immune systems, increased risk of heart disease, and impaired cognitive function. It is crucial to address this epidemic, and connecting with strangers may hold the key to breaking the cycle.
Neuroscience reveals that when we interact with others, our brains release neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin—often referred to as "happy hormones." These chemicals play a vital role in regulating mood and emotional well-being. Strangers, especially those encountered in positive and meaningful interactions, have the potential to trigger the release of these hormones, leading to feelings of happiness, contentment, and even euphoria. This suggests that engaging in conversations with strangers can have a tangible impact on our brain chemistry, fostering emotional resilience and combating depression.
For many people, the idea of talking to strangers can be intimidating and anxiety-inducing. Social norms and the fear of rejection often prevent us from reaching out to others. However, taking small steps to overcome these barriers can open up new opportunities for meaningful connections. Engaging in casual conversations with strangers, such as offering a smile or a friendly greeting, can create positive encounters that uplift our spirits.
One of the powerful aspects of talking to strangers is the potential to share experiences and stories. Human beings are remarkably similar in their fundamental emotions and desires. By sharing our joys, challenges, and vulnerabilities with strangers, we create a sense of empathy and understanding that fosters a deeper connection. This shared sense of humanity can be profoundly comforting, especially for those battling depression, as it provides validation and reassurance that they are not alone in their struggles.
Repetitive routines can exacerbate depression, making life feel stagnant and unfulfilling. Engaging with strangers introduces novelty and unpredictability into our lives. Every new conversation brings a fresh perspective and the potential for exciting experiences. These encounters can lead to personal growth and a sense of discovery, which is vital for individuals trying to overcome depression and find renewed purpose in life.
Meaningful conversations with strangers can lead to the formation of support networks. Joining clubs, organizations, or online communities centered around shared interests allows individuals to meet like-minded people. These networks offer a sense of belonging and provide valuable emotional support during challenging times, helping to alleviate symptoms of depression and loneliness.
In a world that often seems divided and isolating, the simple act of talking to strangers can be a transformative force in boosting happiness and combating depression. The science behind human connection reveals the profound impact of these interactions on our brain chemistry and emotional well-being. By breaking down barriers, sharing experiences, embracing novelty, and building support networks, individuals can open themselves up to a world of opportunities for personal growth, resilience, and happiness. Let us embrace the power of connection and cultivate a society where meaningful conversations with strangers become a cherished and empowering norm.

Trudeau hires 98,000 new bureaucrats, A threat to society as Canada coasts into communism
Government bureaucracy plays a crucial role in the functioning of any society, ensuring the implementation and enforcement of laws, regulations, and policies. However, when governments hire an excessive number of bureaucrats, it can have detrimental effects on society. This essay aims to shed light on the dangers posed by an overabundance of bureaucrats and how it can negatively impact social, economic, and political spheres.
Inefficiency and Red Tape
One of the primary concerns arising from an overreliance on bureaucracy is the increase in inefficiency and excessive red tape. A bloated bureaucratic system leads to a complex web of regulations and procedures that hinder productivity and innovation. Excessive paperwork and lengthy approval processes can stifle entrepreneurship and economic growth, discouraging private sector investment. This inefficiency has a direct impact on citizens who face delays in receiving services, such as healthcare, education, and justice, thus eroding public trust in the government.
Lack of Accountability and Transparency
When the number of bureaucrats proliferates, the lines of accountability become blurred, making it difficult to pinpoint responsibility for decisions and actions. A lack of transparency leads to a decrease in public oversight, as decision-making processes become obscure and shielded from scrutiny. This opacity can foster corruption, favoritism, and the abuse of power, as accountability mechanisms are weakened. Moreover, excessive bureaucracy may also hinder whistleblowing efforts, as bureaucrats fear retribution for exposing misconduct.
Financial Burden and Economic Impact
An oversized bureaucracy imposes a significant financial burden on society. The cost of employing a large number of bureaucrats, coupled with their salaries, benefits, and pensions, can strain public finances and lead to budget deficits. This burden restricts the government's ability to allocate resources to essential sectors such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. Excessive bureaucracy may also necessitate higher taxes, adversely affecting individuals and businesses, hampering economic growth, and reducing disposable income.
Lack of Flexibility and Responsiveness
An excessive bureaucracy often suffers from a lack of flexibility and adaptability, hindering its ability to respond swiftly to societal needs and emerging challenges. Bureaucratic processes tend to be rigid and slow, impeding the implementation of innovative policies and reforms. In a fast-paced world where technological advancements and global issues demand swift action, a bloated bureaucracy can result in missed opportunities and inadequate responses to crises, thereby jeopardizing public welfare.
Suppression of Individual Liberties
When bureaucracy becomes excessively powerful, it may encroach upon individual liberties. Overregulation and bureaucratic intrusion can infringe upon personal freedoms, stifling creativity, autonomy, and the ability to make choices. Excessive bureaucracy may also lead to a culture of risk aversion, where bureaucrats prioritize avoiding mistakes over taking bold and necessary action. This risk-averse environment can hinder progress, innovation, and individual initiative.
While bureaucracy is essential for effective governance, an overabundance of bureaucrats can lead to several dangers for society. Excessive bureaucracy hampers efficiency, curtails accountability, burdens the economy, stifles flexibility, and encroaches upon individual liberties. To mitigate these risks, governments should focus on streamlining administrative processes, encouraging transparency, and implementing robust accountability mechanisms. Promoting a culture of performance-based evaluations, meritocracy, and professionalism can help ensure that bureaucrats serve society's best interests. Additionally, leveraging technology and digital solutions can enhance efficiency and responsiveness while reducing the bureaucratic burden. Ultimately, striking the right balance between bureaucracy and efficiency is essential to safeguarding the public interest and promoting a prosperous and equitable society.

Bank of Canada raises key interest rate for the 10th time since March 2022, Many more will suffer
When an average wage earner person buys a home that costs 24 times their annual income at 0% interest, and banks later raise interest rates to 7-8% after 4 years, it can have severe financial consequences for both individuals and society as a whole. Let's explore the dangers and burdens associated with this situation.
Increased Monthly Mortgage Payments: A sudden increase in interest rates from 0% to 7-8% significantly impacts mortgage payments. As a result, the average wage earner will experience a substantial rise in their monthly payment obligations. This increase can be challenging to manage, especially if their income remains unchanged.
Strained Household Budgets: Higher mortgage payments will strain household budgets, leaving individuals with less disposable income. This can lead to financial stress, making it difficult to meet other essential expenses such as groceries, utilities, healthcare, and education costs. Consequently, families may be forced to make sacrifices and cut back on discretionary spending.
Rising Debt Levels: With a significant portion of their income going towards mortgage payments, individuals may resort to borrowing to cover other expenses. This can lead to a dangerous cycle of increasing debt, as people struggle to maintain their standard of living while meeting their mortgage obligations.
Increased Risk of Default: The financial burden caused by high mortgage payments and rising debt levels increases the risk of default. If individuals cannot afford their mortgage payments, they may face foreclosure, which not only affects them but also impacts the stability of the housing market. High foreclosure rates can lead to declining property values, affecting the overall economy.
Decreased Consumer Spending: When a large segment of society faces financial difficulties due to high mortgage payments, consumer spending decreases. Reduced spending negatively impacts businesses and can result in job losses, which further exacerbates the economic downturn.
Economic Slowdown: As more people struggle with debt and reduced spending power, the overall economy can experience a slowdown. This can lead to decreased investment, lower business profitability, and reduced economic growth. Ultimately, the burden of excessive debt taken on by individuals can have a cascading effect on the broader society.
Financial Instability: High levels of debt and defaults on mortgages can have systemic implications. Financial institutions that provided these loans may face significant losses, which can result in bank failures or a need for government intervention to stabilize the financial sector. The resulting economic instability can have far-reaching consequences, affecting job security, investment opportunities, and overall economic confidence.
Reduced Savings and Retirement Planning: When a significant portion of income goes towards mortgage payments, individuals may struggle to save for emergencies or long-term goals like retirement. This lack of savings can create a vulnerable situation, leaving people unprepared for unexpected expenses or future financial needs.
Long-term Wealth Inequality: The burden of excessive debt falls disproportionately on lower-income individuals who may have been enticed into taking on high mortgages. This can widen the wealth gap, as those with more resources can weather the financial storm more easily, while others struggle to recover from the consequences of their debt burden.
Limited Mobility and Economic Opportunities: High mortgage payments can limit mobility, as individuals may find it difficult to relocate for better job opportunities or personal reasons. This lack of flexibility can hinder economic growth and personal advancement, trapping people in homes they can no longer afford.
In conclusion, the dangers of an average wage earner purchasing a home 24 times their annual income at 0% interest and subsequently facing 7-8% interest rates include increased monthly mortgage payments, strained household budgets, rising debt levels, risk of default, decreased consumer spending, economic slowdown, financial instability, reduced savings and retirement planning, long-term wealth inequality, and limited mobility and economic opportunities. It is crucial to approach home purchases and debt responsibly to avoid these significant financial burdens.

Title: Linking Wages to Real Estate Prices: Sustaining a Stable Economy
In a dynamic and interconnected economy, numerous factors influence its stability and growth. Real estate prices, a key indicator of economic health, have a profound impact on various aspects of society, including wages. This essay aims to explore the relationship between wages and real estate prices and argue that tying wages to real estate prices can help sustain a normal economy. By examining the impacts on workers, consumers, and overall economic stability, this paper will demonstrate how such a link can foster a balanced economic environment.
I. The Role of Real Estate in Economic Stability
Real estate is a critical component of a nation's economy, contributing to growth, employment, and wealth distribution. Its significance lies in three key aspects:
Asset Value and Wealth Accumulation: Real estate serves as a major asset class for individuals, allowing them to accumulate wealth over time through property ownership.
Construction and Related Industries: The real estate sector stimulates economic activity through construction, infrastructure development, and ancillary services, creating jobs and income opportunities.
Consumer Confidence and Spending: Real estate prices impact consumer sentiment and confidence. When prices are stable or rising, homeowners tend to feel wealthier, leading to increased spending, which stimulates economic growth.
II. The Wage-Real Estate Price Nexus
Tying wages to real estate prices entails linking wage levels to fluctuations in real estate values. This approach offers several benefits that contribute to sustaining a normal economy:
Affordability and Housing Market Stability:
a. Ensuring Housing Affordability: Linking wages to real estate prices can address the issue of housing affordability. As real estate prices rise, wages would also increase proportionately, helping individuals and families keep pace with rising housing costs.
b. Promoting Housing Market Stability: By linking wages and real estate prices, speculative bubbles and excessive price fluctuations can be mitigated. When wages are linked to real estate prices, affordability concerns are addressed, reducing the likelihood of unsustainable price growth and subsequent market instability.
Income Distribution and Wealth Inequality:
a. Reducing Wealth Disparities: Tying wages to real estate prices can contribute to reducing wealth inequality. As property values rise, wages would increase accordingly, ensuring that workers have a fair share in the growing wealth of the economy.
b. Promoting Social Cohesion: Addressing wealth disparities can enhance social cohesion and reduce societal tensions, fostering a more inclusive and stable economic environment.
Consumer Confidence and Spending:
a. Maintaining Purchasing Power: When wages are tied to real estate prices, workers' purchasing power remains aligned with the cost of living. This, in turn, supports consumer spending, which is a crucial driver of economic growth.
b. Stability in Real Estate Markets: By connecting wages to real estate prices, consumer confidence in the housing market is maintained. This stability encourages property investment, construction activities, and associated economic growth.
III. Implications for Economic Stability
Linking wages to real estate prices has broader implications for overall economic stability:
Financial Market Stability:
a. Reduced Speculation: Aligning wages with real estate prices discourages speculative investment in the housing market, which can lead to volatility and market distortions.
b. Mitigating Systemic Risk: By promoting stable real estate markets, the risk of a housing market crash and its ripple effects on the broader economy is minimized.
Labor Market Dynamics:
