I perform the song on my Martin GPCPA4 acoustic guitar, over 2 tracks: one featuring the glass bottle slide. A third track of percussive sounds is also layered on the top to replace a washboard that Steve used on the original recording. Steve is a member of Yes and Asia and GTR as well. Immediately following this album Steve would have went to work with Yes in Switzerland to record Going For the One.

I started out as a full time musician, on the road at age 17-19, then went part-time ever since, holding 'day-careers' like chef (red seal papers), spiritual health care while raising a family. As a producer I've made hundreds of my own songs for media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, playing International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I mostly abandoned the prog genre in the '90s but have returned to it now with vigour 30 years later. My own prog band was rejected by record labels as "too progressive' in the late 80s, so i explored grunge, pop rock and alternative, alt-folk / acoustic fingerstyle guitar and ambient electronic as well. Recently i found shoegaze and lo-fi as well.
