Helicopter Landing at Frigate Bay Area
I was surprise when I saw this helicopter landing at the Frigate Bay area behind the Marriott hotel where the golf course is located. A helicopter is a type of rotorcraft in which lift and thrust are supplied by horizontally-spinning rotors. This allows the helicopter to take off and land vertically, to hover, and to fly forward, backward and laterally. These attributes allow helicopters to be used in congested or isolated areas where fixed-wing aircraft and many forms of VTOL (Vertical TakeOff and Landing) aircraft cannot perform.
A Bell 206 helicopter of the Los Angeles Police Department
In 1942 the Sikorsky R-4 became the first helicopter to reach full-scale production.[1][2]
Although most earlier designs used more than one main rotors, the configuration of a single main rotor (monocopter) accompanied by a vertical anti-torque tail rotor has become the most common helicopter configuration. Twin-main rotor helicopters (bicopters), in either tandem or transverse rotors configurations, are also in use due to their greater payload capacity than the monorotor design. Coaxial-rotor helicopters, tiltrotor aircraft, and compound helicopters are all flying today. Quadrotor helicopters (quadcopters) were pioneered as early as 1907 in France, and other types of multicopters have been developed for specialized applications such as drones.

Sea Otters Playing
Otters have long, slim bodies and relatively short limbs. Their most striking anatomical features are the powerfulwebbed feetused to swim, and their seal-like abilities holding breath underwater. Most have sharp claws on their feet and all except the sea otter have long, muscular tails. The 13 species range in adult size from 0.6 to 1.8m (2.0 to 5.9ft) in length and 1 to 45kg (2.2 to 99.2lb) in weight. TheAsian small-clawed otteris the smallest otter species and thegiant otterandsea otterare the largest. They have very soft, insulated underfur, which is protected by an outer layer of longguard hairs. This traps a layer of air which keeps them dry, warm, and somewhatbuoyantunder water.
Several otter species live in cold waters and have highmetabolic ratesto help keep them warm.European ottersmust eat 15% of their body weight each day, andsea otters20 to 25%, depending on the temperature. In water as warm as 10°C (50°F), an otter needs to catch 100g (3.5oz) of fish per hour to survive. Mostspecieshunt for three to five hours each day andnursingmothers up to eight hours each day.

Themusk deer(Moschidae) of Asia andchevrotains(Tragulidae) of tropical African and Asian forests are separate families within the ruminant clade (Ruminantia). They are not especially closely related to deer among the Ruminantia.
Deer appear in art fromPaleolithiccave paintingsonwards, and they haveplayed a role in mythology, religion, and literature throughout history, as well as inheraldry, such as red deer that appear in thecoat of arms of Åland.[2]Their economic importance includes the use of their meat asvenison, their skins as soft, strongbuckskin, and their antlers as handles for knives. Deerhuntinghas been a popular activity since at least the Middle Ages and remains a resource for many families.

How Easter Eggs were Made?
A desperate little bunny rabbit trying to mate with a hen while other fowl looks on in amusement. The rabbit is white and very adorable as it makes it way towards the hen it desires. The hen is a female and the male would be called a roster, And just as humans are divided into male and female and children and adults, chickens are likewise. In this context, a man equals a “rooster” and a woman equals a “hen”. Both are generally chickens, but the names indicate their gender and that they are adults.

Domestic Cats trying to Mate
Two stray cats out in the street trying to mate with each other but the female cat is much smaller so the male cat has a tough time getting to mate with her properly. Thecat(Felis catus) is adomesticspeciesof smallcarnivorousmammal.[1][2]It is the only domesticated species in the familyFelidaeand is often referred to as thedomestic catto distinguish it from the wild members of the family.[4]A cat can either be ahouse cat, afarm cator aferal cat; the latter ranges freely and avoids human contact.[5]Domestic cats are valued by humans for companionship and their ability to huntrodents. About 60cat breedsare recognized by variouscat registries.[6]
The cat is similar inanatomyto the other felid species: it has a strong flexible body, quickreflexes, sharp teeth andretractable clawsadapted to killing small prey. Itsnight visionand sense of smell are well developed.Cat communicationincludesvocalizationslikemeowing, purring, trilling, hissing, growlingand grunting as well ascat-specific body language. Apredatorthat is most active at dawn and dusk, the cat is a solitary hunter but asocial species. It can hear sounds too faint or too high infrequencyfor human ears, such as those made bymiceand other small mammals.[7]It secretes and perceivespheromones.[8]
Female domestic cats can have kittens from spring to late autumn, with litter sizes often ranging from two to five kittens.[9]Domestic cats are bred and shown at events as registeredpedigreed cats, a hobby known ascat fancy. Failure to control breeding ofpetcats byspayingandneutering, as well as abandonment of pets, resulted in large numbers of feral cats worldwide, contributing to the extinction of entire bird, mammal, and reptile species, and evokingpopulation control.[10]
Cats were first domesticated in theNear Eastaround 7500BC.[11]It was long thought that cat domestication was initiated inancient Egypt, as since around 3100BC veneration was given tocats in ancient Egypt.[12][13]As of 2021there are an estimated 220 million owned and 480 million stray cats in the world.[14][15]As of 2017, the domestic cat was the second-most popular pet in the United States, with 95 million cats owned.[16][17][18]In the United Kingdom, 26% of UK adults have a cat with an estimated population of 10.9 million pet cats as of 2020.

Beautiful Life of Butterflies
Butterflies are flying insects with large scaly wings. Like all insects, they have six jointed legs, 3 body parts, a pair of antennae, compound eyes, and an exoskeleton. The three body parts are the head, thorax (the chest), and abdomen (the tail end).
The butterfly's body is covered by tiny sensory hairs. The four wings and the six legs of the butterfly are attached to the thorax. The thorax contains the muscles that make the legs and wings move.
FLYING

Swallowtails are strong fliers.Butterflies are very good fliers. They have two pairs of large wings covered with colorful, iridescent scales in overlapping rows. Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths) are the onlyinsectsthat have scaly wings. The wings are attached to the butterfly's thorax (mid-section). Veins support the delicate wings and nourish them with blood.
Butterflies can only fly if their body temperature is above 86 degrees. Butterflies sun themselves to warm up in cool weather. As butterflies age, the color of the wings fades and the wings become ragged.
The speed varies among butterfly species (the poisonous varieties are slower than non-poisonous varieties). The fastest butterflies (some skippers) can fly at about 30 mile per hour or faster. Slow flying butterflies fly about 5 mph.
LIFE-CYCLE OF A BUTTERFLY
Butterflies and moths undergo complete metamorphosis in which they go through four different life stages.
Egg- A butterfly starts its life as an egg, often laid on a leaf.
Larva- The larva (caterpillar) hatches from an egg and eats leaves or flowers almost constantly. The caterpillar molts (loses its old skin) many times as it grows. The caterpillar will increase up to several thousand times in size before pupating.
Pupa- It turns into a pupa (chrysalis); this is a resting stage.
Adult- A beautiful, flying adult emerges. This adult will continue the cycle.

Seagull and Pelicans Fish Battle
They are unrelated species that partially share a niche (seabirds). A seagull is a strong flying bird that also frequents the shore. A pelican is a swimming and diving bird with a deep bill that can scoop up fish from the surface.
Seagull is watching the pelican's every move. It is hoping that somewhere during the water removal/head-flipping process the pelican messes up and a fish gets away. If that happens it will swoop in and grab itself a meal, before the pelican recovers the lost goods.

Most Cutest Gophers Play Fight with Each Other
Pocket gophers, commonly referred to as justgophers, areburrowingrodentsof the familyGeomyidae.[2]The roughly 35 species are allendemicto North and Central America.[3]They are commonly known for their extensive tunneling activities and their ability to destroy farms and gardens. The name "pocket gopher" on its own may refer to any of a number ofgenerawithin thefamilyGeomyidae. These are the "true" gophers, but severalground squirrelsin the distantly related familySciuridaeare often called "gophers", as well. The origin of the word "gopher" is uncertain; Frenchgaufre, meaningwaffle, has been suggested, on account of the gopher tunnels resembling thehoneycomb-like pattern of holes in a waffle;[4]another suggestion is that the word is ofMuskogeanorigin.[5]

Gentle Underwear Turtle
Turtles are reptiles with hard shells that protect them from predators. They are among the oldest and most primitive groups of reptiles, having evolved millions of years ago. Turtles live all over the world in almost every type of climate.
According to theIntegrated Taxonomic Information System(ITIS), the turtle order, Testudines (or Chelonia), splits into two suborders, Cryptodira andPleurodira, and then further splits into 13 families, 75 genera and more than 300 species.
"Turtle," "tortoise" and "terrapin" are often used interchangeably as synonyms, but there are distinct differences between the types of chelonians, according to theSan Diego Zoo:
Turtles spend most of their lives in water. They are adapted for aquatic life, with webbed feet or flippers and a streamlined body.Sea turtles rarely leave the ocean, except to lay eggs in the sand. Freshwater turtles live in ponds and lakes, and they climb out of the water onto logs or rocks to bask in the warm sun.
Tortoises are land animals. Their feet are round and stumpy, adapted for walking on land. They also dig burrows with their strong forelimbs, and slip underground when the sun gets too hot.
Terrapins live on land and in water, usually in swamps, ponds, lakes and rivers.
Size
With so many different types of turtle, there is no average size. The largest sea turtle species is the leatherback turtle. It weighs 600 to 1,500 lbs. (272 to 680 kilograms) and is about 4.5 to 5.25 feet (139 to 160 centimeters) long, according to theWorld Wildlife Federation(WWF). The Galápagos tortoise grows up to 6 feet (183 cm) long and 573 lbs. (260 kg), according to theSan Diego Zoo. The largest freshwater turtle in North America is the alligator snapping turtle. It can grow to 2.5 feet (80 cm) long and weigh as much as 200 lbs. (91 kg). The Yangtze giant softshell turtle is the largest softshell turtle. It measures up to 3.6 feet (1 m) across, and weigh up to 309 lbs. (140 kg).
One of the smallest turtles is the speckled Cape tortoise, according to the San Diego Zoo. Its shell is 3.1 inches (7.9 cm) long. It weighs about 5 ounces (142 grams).

The Graceful Dolphins
Dolphins are small-toothed cetaceans easily recognizable by their curved mouths, which give them a permanent “smile.” There are 36 dolphin species, found in every ocean. Most dolphins are marineand live in the ocean or brackish waters along coastlines. There are a few species, however, like the South Asian river dolphin and the Amazon river dolphin, orboto, that live in freshwater streams and rivers.
The largest dolphin, theorca, can grow to be over 30 feet long. The smallest, the Maui dolphin, is just five feet long.
Dolphins feed chiefly on fish and squid, which they track using echolocation, a built-in sonar that bounces sound waves off prey and reveals information like its location, size, and shape. An echolocatingbottlenose dolphincan make up to a thousand clicking noises per second.
Behavior and reproduction
Living in pods that can number a dozen or more, dolphins are intenselysocial mammals that communicate with squeaks, whistles, and clicks. Whether dolphins have language, as humans do,is a topic that scientists have debated for decades.
