This is my full review and test of the new Behringer B906 instrument microphone. In this video, I also compare the Behringer B 906 to the Sennheiser e906 instrument microphone. I paid full price for the Behringer B 906 microphone here in Australia and it was less than half that of the Sennheiser e906! But the true test is, does it sound as good? I hope to answer whether or not you should be fine with the Behringer or whether or not you should get the Sennheiser. Not surprisingly, the Behringer B906 is Behringers' take on the legendary instrument microphone from Sennheiser. I had a treble bleed installed in my Tokai Love Rock electric guitar. This mod is fantastic for retaining the treble with the guitar volume turned down. This quick and easy guitar modification has drastically improved the tone of my Tokai Love Rock (Les Paul) electric guitar. These high pass filters allow you to get the same high-frequencies you would get with the guitar pickup volume on full at ANY volume. This takes out the muddy sound and lack of treble when you turn a Les Paul volume control down. Some guitars come with these treble bleed/high pass filters already installed but mine did not. I was on the fence about selling this guitar recently and this treble bleed mod has literally saved it from being sold. This Tokai Les Paul (Love Rock) is now arguably my best sounding humbucker electric guitar. In this video, I show you how it works and then compare it with a few of my other guitars to see how much of a difference there is. In this video, I show you how to get really great electric guitar rock and roll tones (dad-rock) at low volumes. This video will show you how to record guitar quietly with anything that you have, including an amplifier. This video is targeted toward those who only have big amplifiers. Getting a good tone down on an album or recording can be a challenge on a large amp when you don't want to wake up the neighbors. In this video, I show you how I dial in a great guitar tone at a low volume using a 20-watt amplifier with a 12" speaker. One thing a lot of people don't know is that overdrive and distortion pedals were designed to give you the "huge tone" at any volume. Most people think of an overdrive or distortion as a boost pedal these days. I am not using any other tricks or power attenuation devices in this recording. I have also not added any post EQ to the recording. If you want a fatter tone you can simply add it in post-production or EQ the pedal accordingly.
