THE GREAT WESTERN HIKING TRAIL | Foss State Park Oklahoma | Trekking Review
I traveled to Foss State Park and trekked the Great Western Trail. The hiking trail was great and it was an easy walk. It's a trail that is also a road and seemed to be mowed and groomed for a smooth easy hike. There are several portions all around the southern part of the like. I'm not sure how far my portion goes but it did connect Sandy Beach Campground and the Mouse Creek Horse area. Enjoy the hike!

Amache Japanese Internment Camp Visit \ Granada Colorado
I stopped at Amache Japanese Internment Camp near Granada Colorado on my way back to Oklahoma. It was just a quick stop but it was still pretty powerful. It's crazy to think we did this to Americans because we were afraid during World War 2. Reminds me how important it is to teach history to all ages. Make sure to stop by if you're ever in southeastern Colorado!

PAWNEE NATIONAL GRASSLAND / Pawnee Buttes Trail Review in Northeastern Colorado
I visited Pawnee National Grassland in Northeastern Colorado and hiked out to Pawnee Buttes. It was such a unique place and I do love the American prairie. I think it really is such a special place and so unique even compared to the rest of the world. Yes, it may be "boring" but when you find this awesome place like Pawnee Buttes I think it changes minds. It really is pretty.
The hike was easy to a little moderate and about 2 miles one way. This is a great overnight spot then hit the trail then move along. It's easy to get to and easy to hike. So next time you're in Colorado, swing by this cool place and boondock for the night and enjoy the wide-open windy plains!

COLORADO TO INDIANA DRIVING DASHCAM VIDEO / 14 Hour Drive Across the Prairie / Garmin Drive Assist50
I had an epic long drive from Colorado to Indiana for a race near my hometown. I had to try to get home in one shot and I was able to make it! The timelapse came out better than I expected and the view of the prairie is kind of gorgeous as you see how flat and wide open it is through Kansas. I really do love the scenery in that part of the country.

MOUNT ELBERT COLORADO TREK \ South Trail Long Route Review \ August 2021
I tried my best but wasn’t able to summit Mt Elbert in Colorado. I’m going to try again in the coming days. Should be interesting because I’m going to lessen the load and just try to go as light and as fast as possible. I’m also going to start from the truck parking which is 1.75 miles closer. Hope it all goes well!

I figured I'd show you what it looks like driving on I-29 to I-70 and you get a good downtown shot halfway through the video! ROD AND GUN CAMPGROUND / Black Hills National Forest South Dakota / Night Stop and Drone Video
I stopped at the Rod and Gun Campground in the Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota on my way back to Indiana. The trip changed due to some family circumstances so I'm heading my way back to Indiana to see family. It was a wonderful pitstop on the way home and the Black Hills were honestly wonderful!
The campground was clean and quiet and there was only one other group in the area. There are tons of things to do around there and I will be back to see more of the area. There are lots of creeks, waterfalls, hiking, and offroading to do all around there. I can't wait to go back!

NORBERG LAKE TRAIL LOOP / Bear Head Lake State Park Hiking and Trail Review / Minnesota
Norberg Lake Trail Loop is located inside Bear Head Lake State Park Minnesota. It was a great midday hike and well worth the visit. The state park is gorgeous and worth stopping and staying for a few nights if you're ever in the area. It was rated as one of the best state parks in the United States several years ago and it deserves that accolade! The lake, campground, swim area, and boating are second to none!
The trail is easy to moderate depending on location and there are large rocks you'll have to walk over. The trail will be well worth it if you're able to get over some of those obstacles. I'd recommend this trail for sure and the state park!

MEMORIAL FALLS MONTANA / Trail and Waterfall Review and Location! / Lewis and Clark National Forest
I made it to Memorial Falls Montana while I was in Lewis and Clark National Forest. It was gorgeous! It's an easy hike and only about a third of a mile one way. The trail is easy to moderate with some rocks and the two waterfalls are easily accessed and idyllic! I'd recommend it to anyone!

SWEET BRIAR DAM STATE GAME MANAGEMENT AREA NORTH DAKOTA \ Free Overnight Camping Spot!
I found Sweet Briar Dam State Game Management Area on the FreeRoam App and it was a wonderful free overnight camping spot. I used it for a quick overnight and it went very well. Be aware the interstate is close so be ready for road noise. Other than that, it was quiet and I only had one other person within view. A perfect overnight spot if you're in central North Dakota!

MILL BLUFF STATE PARK WISCONSIN / Hiking and Views!
My first stop on my July trip is Mill Bluff State Park in Wisconsin. It’s a very small park but there’s pretty to do for the day. The nature area to the east and north have plenty of hiking and views and the campground is quaint. Just be prepared for no showers. Otherwise, it’s got nice toilets, a swim area, and lots of families. Well worth the night or a fun afternoon stop.
