Happy sniffing! :-) - Intro: 0.00 - 1:00 * Merry Maple Bourbon: 1:00 - I got a lot of fun scents to try but 2 candles really stood out from the rest. This is one of them. ** Cypress & Amber 3:15 - This is the other stand out scent, and probably my favorite out of the 12 candles I bought. *** Fa La La Latte: 5:40 - So sweet and yet, so good. the crumbled Danish butter cookies are the star of the show! **** Cinnamon Sugared Pecans: 10:00 - This one I've gone back and forth on. Sometimes I smell the "Extra" (milky cereal gourmand note) other times I only smell the cinnamon and brown sugar. This one will probably transform while burning. ***** Leather & Brandy: 12:35 - Describing Mandles isn't my strongest suit. Masculine but soft, a little peppery, with a hint of BBW Bourbon cologne and a wood/oak note. ****** You're the One: 15:00 -If you like sweet florals, u should own this scent. If you like rose done RIGHT, u should own this scent. That's why the Eucalyptus/pine/balsam feels more "spa" than forest. Beautiful scent and besides Vanilla Balsam, one of my favorite Christmas candles! ** Marshmallow Fireside: 3:15 - it's a cult classic/fan favorite for good reason! *** Mahogany Balsam: 5:40 - soooo much better than plain old Mahogany Teakwood! **** Eucalyptus Snowfall: 10:00 - Think Christmas Laundry Day fresh air (laundry note) w/ hint of sticky-menthol. I have a feeling this will be a STRONG candle - sensitive noses beware! ***** Tipsy Elf: 12:35 - yummy. this is not your basic creamy vanilla milkshake scent - booze it UP! ****** Smoky Vanilla Whiskey: 15:00 - authentic smoky note- during Dad visit, he could smell the candle from upstairs. He was worried there was a fire in our house! Bath and Body Works figured it out. The green apple is the star of Wicked Apple / Caramel Apple / Sweet Caramel Comfort (Home). This might be one of my favorite apple scents. It's not super sweet, even though there's caramel in the notes because the tart bite of apple saves it! Truly a remarkable performance. The single wick burned and threw like a dream. Go get some Wicked Apple before they disappear with the rest of the Fall/Halloween clearance! I Just wish both the strength of the scent and the throw were stronger. That's how you go from a B to an A. It's a shame if they didn't bring it back because it's exceptional. The perfect cross between gourmand and fruity meets the perfect amount of throw. Village Candle's Coffee Bean is proof first impressions can be deceiving when it comes to candles. Sometimes, a candle u hate, evolves into a candle u can't live without. I was really excited about this one. The fragrance notes were intriguing, as Yankee Candles often are. If they could only work on making the throw as intense as the scent itself, I'd be buying YC a lot more. Discovery is a non-gourmand warm, spicy citrus scent. I was hoping it would be similar to All is Bright, but they are more like scent cousins. I got this candle as a birthday present from my dear friend Eric. Luckily, it pretty much lived up to- and surpassed- my expectations. Grade: A (warm spicy citrus can be hard to do, without leaning too fall- this candle works for every season and has good throw.) I'm no longer donning random hats, as I have now inherited a kingdom of beautiful beautiful candles. This week, I'll be focusing on Goose Creek. Autumn Romance is a lovely scent that is amber and sandalwood heavy. It's a great unisex fragrance, perfect for this time of year. One problem I had was some soot around the mouth of the jar, but other than that, it burned beautifully. Grade: A (very unique scent perfect for anytime of the year). Don't get me wrong, this IS a good candle... but WHERE are my pumpkin spices? This has more of a glazed donut feel. It's great for donut lovers, but there isn't enough pumpkin in it to live up to it's name. The donut note is the same note found in Salted Pretzel Milkshake, from summer 2018, minus the burnt smell. Grade: B (needs less sugar and MORE pumpkin!)

If you are looking for an gourmand lavender candle, you found it. This candle reminds me of a certain Girl Scout cookie. I'm loving every minute I get to burn it. Smells amazing. Brief Candle Review: Bath & Body Works Cozy Cashmere is disappointment in candle form. I took a shot at this one bc sandalwood and vanilla were listed as notes. Unfortunately, the star of this candle is the cashmere/lavender. Great news if you are looking for a powdery, somewhat medicinal, bathroom scent. Bad news if you are me, and lavender isn't one of your favorites. I only like Lavender when it's mixed with vanilla, or masculine notes. I also pick up suntan lotion, which comes completely out of left field. BBW should rename the candle Lavender Beach, because there is nothing cozy or comforting about it. I can't stress this enough: The Candle and the Body Care are different scents. BBW likes to confuse and confound their customers. This is a good, strong, unisex scent. Perfect for when the weather gets cooler. I just wish it smelled like the body care. I might repurchase because it's good to have a candle like this on-hand when you need a strong candle. You wouldn't think a candle could be controversial, but this one IS. Some people (moi) smell the most delicious, creamy, sweet, indulgent pumpkin pie with flaky crust. In fact, this candle is also repackaged as Pumpkin Pie. They are one and the same. BUT some people say they smell nacho chips, and they LOATHE this scent. I don't get it. I love it. I own several just in case BBW discontinued it! The Pumpkin Pie candle is one of their fall staples, so I had nothing to worry about. Anyway, this candle rules and is definitely worth repurchase IMHO. It also has excellent throw. This Room Filler. Burned like a dream. Starts off like your fairly basic sugar cookie smell, with a slight pumpkin pie/cinnamon/nutmeg essence. BUT once you BURN it, this candle brings out the Baked/Baking Brown Sugar Cookie Smell. This is cookies fresh from the oven, baked golden brown to perfection. Burns Fast. Boo. Smells Good. Yay!
