Schindler? Hydraulic Elevator @ Grand Central Terminal - New York City
Recorded on 5/11/23. This is an elevator that was installed about three years ago to service One Vanderbilt, the main terminal and the Long Island Railroad Concourse. As of January 2023, access to the Long Island Railroad Terminal opened on this elevator and you can see how far down this elevator goes. This technically makes this a HIGHdraulic elevator. This is quite nice for a transit elevator though.

Main Hydraulic Elevators @ Grand Central Terminal - New York City
Recorded on 5/11/23. Here is a silent ultra HD take of these elevators. Can't believe these are over four years old already! These do not go down to the Long Island Railroad as I originally thought these elevators may do.

New Hydraulic Elevator @ Grand Central Terminal - New York City
Recorded on 5/11/23. This is a new elevator that replaced a rather ghetto Heights elevator that was in such awful shape. This new elevator is much more clean and runs very well. I hope it stays this way as the New York City subway system is totally falling apart. This elevator is located outside of the subway entrance. Right now I am not going into the New York City subway system because the system is currently very dangerous compared to what it used to be.

Harlem Line train action at Mount Kisco Station! (M7A, M3A, P32AC-DM)
Recorded in March 2022. I forgot I had this railfanning video as I was practicing making train number screens for this video, but it didn't work out. Here is some trains at the Mount Kisco Station. All of the equipment that normally goes through here is seen in this video. Enjoy!

Montgomery Hydraulic Elevator @ Sears - Jefferson Valley Mall - Yorktown Heights, New York
Recorded on 6/26/15. I didn't expect to find a few extra videos on this elevator before it got ripped out in 2018 and this is one of them! The store also closed in 2018 as well. The mall wanted this elevator out to accommodate more tenants which didn't happen. Only 24 Hour Fitness moved into the first floor of this former store. I also demonstrate how this elevator parks on the first floor. This was taken on my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone which was my favorite cell phone camera until the Google Pixel 4A which I use now. That ended up not being a very good phone since it only lasted 10 months. Oh well. Enjoy this throwback video!

Otis Hydraulic Elevator @ Prudential T Station @ Boston, Massachusetts
Recorded on 3/31/23. This elevator and the remaining elevators at this T Station were installed by the Prudential Towers and not the MBTA. Though the Prudential Towers have been modernized by Schindler. This elevator ran fine but was very dirty. This is the last video from the Spring 2023 Boston trip. Hope you enjoyed the major series!

Riding a Siemens 700 Series Blue Line T Train from Government Center to Wonderland
Recorded on 3/31/23. After an amazing meal at Filipos, me and William ventured all the way out to Wonderland to ride some very lovely elevators. This gave me the opportunity to ride the Blue line. The blue line is very neat because the blue line trains utilize two power sources like the Kawasaki M8 trains on the Metro North Railroad. This is a setup done on purpose because the blue line runs very close to the Atlantic Ocean and having third rail is not plausible for the conditions next to the ocean. So the trains change power sources at Logan International Airport Station from third rail to overhead electricity for outbound trains and vise versa for inbound trains. This is a really neat experience! Definitely worth checking out. Enjoy!

Riding a CRRC series train on the MBTA Orange Line: From Forest Hills to Back Bay
Recorded on 3/31/23. The orange line of the T system is very interesting because this line parallels with the Northeast Corridor. You can see a lot with this perspective with this line. The Forest Hills and Ruggles Stations are attached to the commuter rail stations as well. Enjoy the ride into downtown with William!

Thyssenkrupp Hydraulic Elevator @ Wonderland T Station - Revere, Massachusetts
Recorded on 3/31/23. Here is a hidden elevator that William found at this T Station. Nobody but me and William has filmed this elevator before. This elevator is near the inbound platform and takes you up to the plaza to Revere Beach. This elevator was likely installed around 2012 with the rest of the station. Though it is interesting to see MBTA use Thyssenkrupp. This elevator might of been installed before the rest of the elevators here. This is a nice running elevator that is holding up pretty good.

Kone? Traction Elevators @ Wonderland T Station Parking Garage - Revere, Massachusetts
Recorded on 3/31/23. This station does have some great elevators! Except for the platform elevators as you all already know. If you haven't seen the video of those elevators, you should check them out to see what I am talking about lol! These elevators are actually quite fun! They go 350 feet per minute which is very fast for 7 floors! These elevators are very smooth too.

Railfanning during the 40th anniversary of New Jersey Transit at Rahway! Featuring F40's & Amtrak
Recorded on 9/30/23. Happy new year! We are kicking off a brand new year of 2024 with New Jersey Transit this year! Last fall, me, my Dad and Big Butt Bear attempted to score some tickets to ride the New Jersey Transit 40th anniversary excursion train. This was a train that operated from New York to Bay Head and back to Hoboken. The train started with two ALP-46 electric locomotives at New York Penn Station following an engine change to the two New Jersey Transit F40's at South Amboy for the remainder of the trip to reenact the old locomotive switch at South Amboy where electrification used to end. Unfortunately the tickets sold out within ten minutes of going on sale so we had no hope of making it onto that train. Instead, we ventured out to Rahway for a few hours and make the 40th anniversary excursion train our main catch of the trip. Boy did things get interesting fast! A trespasser was struck at Elizabeth Station which is located two stations north of this station. Wait until you see what happens in this video! This video also contains plenty of Amtrak trains including some Keystone Corridor trains. There is so much going on in this video that you do not want to miss out on! Enjoy!

Schindler 400A Traction Elevator @ Nordstrom - South Shore Plaza - Braintree, Massachusetts
Recorded on 4/1/23. Nordstrom always has nice elevators! And most of them are traction as well. This is no exception. A very nice and reliable elevator. Nice to see another 400A! I hope to ride one with the non vandal resistant buttons someday.

Kone? Traction Auxillary Elevator @ Wonderland T Station - Revere, Massachusetts
Recorded on 3/31/23. After riding the joke of what you call elevators in the main portion of this station, we found a properly working elevator that takes you down to Revere Beach. This elevator received proper maintenance and accelerates at the full 200 feet per minute. This is how the platform elevators are supposed to run! Hopefully that issue will get fixed soon. Rumor has it that these may be Kone elevators but I do not have proof at the moment.

The worst elevator leveling on YouTube! The elevators at the Wonderland T Station in Revere, MA
Recorded on 3/31/23. William really wanted me to show these elevators at the end of the MBTA Subway blue line because of how much of a joke these elevators are! These are MRL Traction Elevators that are supposed to accelerate at 200 feet per minute. When the elevator is supposed to come to a stop, the elevator is supposed to glide to a stop as they level. Kind of like a reflex system on an MEI elevator. In the past, these elevators did just that! Unfortunately it seems like a technician messed something up while doing maintenance on these elevators as both of the elevators in this video only go about 90 feet per minute. These elevator still attempt to perform the glide stop but fail miserably due to the lack of acceleration. Just watch how much of a joke the leveling on these elevators are! I have been on many hydraulic elevators at accelerate much faster than this! Fortunately this issue can be fixed especially since this is still a great installation. Once the proper systems on these elevators are fixed they should run like they used to at 200 feet per minute. Enjoy this extravaganza!

Railfanning the PM rush hour at Forest Hills Station. Featuring the Cannonball and the Flying Yankee
Recorded on 8/4/23. On a beautiful summer day, I brought William down to Grand Central Terminal to show him the amazing new Madison Concourse. BJ Blue Shadow Transit also joined us for the trip as well. We headed out of Grand Central to catch some diesel trains and catch the seasonal Cannonball special. The Cannonball is a special train that brings nonstop service from New York's Pennsylvania Station all the way out to the Hamptons and Montauk and it only runs on Fridays eastbound and Sundays westbound in the Summer time (Westbound on Memorial day Monday and Labor day Monday). I finally got to see the Cannonball for the first time. The Flying Yankee comes through here giving us a great horn salute to us too! An action packed video you do not want to miss! Enjoy!

Montgomery single file escalators at the Shoppes at Buckland Hills Mall - Manchester, Connecticut
Recorded on 4/1/23. I normally do not film a lot of escalators. However, when I saw these single file escalators on the way out of the mall, I had to get a video for you guys. You do not see a lot of single file escalators in mall hallways. Enjoy!
The new intro and outro that you see in this video will be applied to all videos beginning on January 12th.

Riding the MBTA Green Line from Prudential to North Station
Recorded on 3/31/23. This was train we took from finishing up elevators to our dinner for the night at Filippo Ristorante. Very good restaurant to have a meal at if you are in Boston! These green line trains are very cool because they are essentially trolleys. This particular model sounds exactly like an R142A train from the New York City Subway. I would say the green line was my favorite out of all the train lines on the Boston T. Enjoy!

Otis Hydraulic Elevator @ Louis R Levin Memorial Library - Curry College - Milton, Massachusetts
Recorded on 4/1/23. William helped me find this elevator before I returned home from Boston since I couldn't find it when riding elevators on this campus on my own. This elevator does not serve the second floor for some odd reason. This is still a cool elevator either way. Though the ceiling panel is so flimsy that it shakes in quite a lot of circumstances. Also, why is it that library elevators tend to be loud? Lol!

Otis Hydraulic Elevator @ Star Market - Prudential Center - Boston, Massachusetts
Recorded on 3/31/23. I remember watching the video on former Cannycart's channel back in the day of this elevator. This store used to be Shaws Marketplace. This elevator is a little bumpy and overshoots when leveling but despite that it runs fine. The orange cab is kind of neat though.
