Here's the second part of the Cardboard House project. In this video, I used thin cardboard for the roof, egg cartons for the walls and ground, and crafted a trellis for the flower vine. I'm excited about the possibility of beautiful flowers blooming on the vine. You'll get to see how it turns out in Part 3, so stay tuned!

In this tutorial video, I demonstrate the process of creating a fairy house utilizing common materials such as a glass jar, cardboard scraps, an egg tray, and acrylic paint. The jar's lid transforms into a versatile roof that can be opened, serving as either a storage container, a cookie jar, or an opportunity to incorporate LED lights inside for a charming fairy lamp in a children's room. I turned a balloon and two A&W paper cups into a sweet strawberry house with lights. I decorated it with dried moss and twigs, and it even has a chimney made of an overgrown mushroom. Let me know your thoughts about it!

Decorating Fairy Houses doesn't have to be expensive. Since commercially available clay is usually costly, and making home-made clay takes time, I chose to recycle paper egg tray to make mushrooms instead of using clay. I made a Fairy Castle using 3 empty Pringles containers. I designed it based on the original colors of the containers, and I think it turned out nice. This Pear Fairy House was made using an empty plastic juice container and a plastic cup with lid. I had to use aluminum foil and newspaper to achieve the pear shape, which was a bit challenging. Other materials used were egg tray, cardboard, acrylic paint, gloss glaze and hot glue. Again, I used dried moss and twigs for decoration and lights for a whimsical effect. I got a suggestion from my wife to make a strawberry house as my new creation. So, here it is. I turned a balloon and two A&W paper cups into a scrumptious ripe strawberry house with lights. Decorated with dried moss and twigs, this house was surrounded by mushrooms in the wilderness. It even had an overgrown mushroom chimney. I hope you like this DIY/recycling project.
