For God is my witness, how I long after you in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your charity may more and more abound in knowledge and in all understanding. V. That you may approve the better things, that you may be sincere and without offence unto the day of Jesus Christ.

Sermo meus - Introit for St Anthony Mary Zaccaria
Day 47 of #100daysofchant
A priest requested recordings of the propers for 5th July for a Missa Cantata celebrating his 20th anniversary of priestly ordination. Here is a video I hope will help someone preparing to sing for this feast day.
SERMO meus, et prædicátio mea non in persuasibílibus humánæ sapiéntiæ verbis, sed in ostensióne spíritus, et virtútis. Ps. 110: 1. Confitébor tibi, Dómine, in toto corde meo, in consílio justórum et congregatióne. Gloria Patri.
My speech and my preaching was not in the persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the showing of spirit and power. Ps. I will praise Thee, O Lord with my whole heart, in the council of the just, and in the congregation. Glory be to the Father.

Tantum Ergo - Mozarabic or Spanish tune
Day 45 of #100daysofchant
Tantum ergo Sacramentum
Veneremur cernui:
Et antiquum documentum
Novo cedat ritui:
Praestet fides supplementum
Sensuum defectui.
Genitori, Genitoque
Laus et jubilatio,
Salus, honor, virtus quoque
Sit et benedictio:
rocedenti ab utroque
Compar sit laudatio. Amen.
Down in adoration falling,
Lo! the sacred Host we hail,
Lo! o'er ancient forms departing
Newer rites of grace prevail;
Faith for all defects supplying,
Where the feeble senses fail.
To the everlasting Father,
And the Son Who reigns on high
With the Holy Ghost proceeding
Forth from each eternally,
Be salvation, honor, blessing,
Might and endless majesty. Amen.

Te Laudamus - cool Benediction hymn
Day 42 of #100daysofchant
The sound of this one strikes me as very cool, laid back, then the really funky downward scale. It's almost like a profound bow at the end of each line.
Te laudamus Domine omnipotens,
qui sedes super Cherubim et Seraphim.
Quem benedicunt Angeli, Arcangeli;
et laudant Prophetae et Apostoli.
Te laudamus Domine orando,
qui venisti peccata solvendo.
Te deprecamur magnum Redentorem,
quem Pater misit ovium pastorem.
Tu es Christus Dominus Salvator,
qui de Maria Virgine es natus.
We praise Thee, almighty Lord,
who sits upon the Cherubim and Seraphim.
Whom the Angels and Archangels bless
and the Prophets and Apostles praise.
We praise Thee, Lord to be entreated,
who has come to dissolve sins.
Thee we pray, the great Redeemer,
whom the Father sent as shepherd of the sheep.
Thou art Christ the Lord and Saviour,
who is born of the Virgin Mary.

Jam sol recedit - vespers hymn for Trinity Sunday
Day 36 of #100daysofchant
I love how this hymn for Trinity Sunday has 3 verses. Plus it's almost exactly the same as the regular Vespers hymn for Saturdays.
Jam sol recedit igneus:
Tu lux perennis Unitas,
Nostris, beata Trinitas,
Infunde lumen cordibus.
Te mane laudum carmine,
Te deprecamur vespere;
Digneria ut te supplices
Laudemus inter cœlites.
Patri, simulque Filio,
Tibique sancta Spiritus,
Sicut fuit, sit jugiter
Sæclum per omne Gloria.
As fades the glowing orb of day,
To Thee, great source of light, we pray;
Blest Three in One, to every heart
Thy beams of life and love impart.
At early down, at close of day,
To Thee our vows we humbly pay;
May we, mid joys that never end,
With Thy bright Saints in homage bend.
To God, the Father, and the Son,
And Holy Spirit, Three in One,
Be endless glory, as before
The world began, so evermore.

Beata nobis gaudia - Hymn for Pentecost with the "Gaudeamus" pattern
Day 29 of #100daysofchant
Beata nobis gaudia
Anni reduxit orbita,
Cum Spiritus paraclitus
Illapsus est Apostolis.
Ignis vibrante lumine
Linguæ figuram detulit,
Verbis ut essent proflui,
Et caritate fervidi.
Linguis loquuntur omnium,
Turbæ pavent Gentilium:
Musto madere deputant,
Quos spiritus repleverat.
Parata sunt hæc mystice,
Paschæ peracto tempore,
Sacro dierum circulo,
Quo lege fit remissio.
Te nunc Deus piissime
Vultu precamur cernuo,
Illapsa nobis cœlitus
Largire dona Spiritus.
Dudum sacrata pectora
Tua replesti gratia:
Dimitte nostra crimina,
Et da quieta tempora.
Deo Patri sit gloria,
Et Filio, qui a mortuis
Surrexit, ac Paraclito.
In sæculorum sæcula.
translation here is by Richard Ellis Roberts, 1906
Rejoice! the year upon its way
has brought again that blessed day,
when on the chosen of the Lord
the Holy Spirit was outpoured.
On each the fire, descending, stood,
in quivering tongues' similitude,
tongues, that their words might ready prove,
and fire, to make them flame with love.
To all in every tongue they spoke;
amazement in the crowd awoke,
who mocked, as overcome with wine,
those who were filled with power divine.
These things were done in type that day,
when Eastertide had passed away,
the number told which once set free
the captive at the jubilee.
And now, O holy God, this day
regard us as we humbly pray,
and send us, from thy heavenly seat,
the blessings of the Paraclete.
To God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Spirit, praise be done;
may Christ the Lord upon us pour
the Spirit's gift for evermore.

Factus est repente - Sound of a big wind at Pentecost
Day 27 of #100daysofchant
I might say this a lot, but I really love this one. It's the Communion Antiphon for Pentecost Sunday.
Factus est repénte de cœlo sonus, tamquam adveniéntis spíritus veheméntis, ubi erant sedéntes, allelúia: et repléti sunt omnes Spíritu Sancto, loquéntes magnália Dei. Allelúia, allelúia.
Suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a mighty wind coming where they were sitting, alleluia; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking the wonderful works of God. Alleluia, alleluia.
