#Worldwide Financial Change #Russia Drops U.S. Dollar #dollars #russiaexchange The petrodollar system, where Saudi Arabia agreed to sell oil only in U.S. dollars in exchange for military support, is diminishing. Saudi Arabia is now selling oil in other currencies, including the Chinese yuan, which undermines the value of the U.S. dollar. Recent U.S. sanctions have halted dollar and euro trading on Russia's main exchange, the Moscow Exchange. This move forces Russian banks and companies to trade over-the-counter, reducing liquidity and oversight. The U.S. dollar, traditionally the global reserve currency, is being weaponized through sanctions, pushing countries like Russia to create alternatives like BRICS and new currencies to compete with the dollar. Additionally, Russia is developing an alternative to the SWIFT system as part of a push for digital sovereignty. This new financial system aims for greater independence from Western institutions, potentially further weakening the U.S. dollar's dominance. Due to these shifts, I'm investing in gold and Bitcoin instead of relying on the stock market or the U.S. dollar. The economic landscape is changing, and the U.S. government's actions are contributing to these global financial shifts.
