Kefalonia is a stunning island located in the Ionian Sea, off the western coast of Greece. With its rugged coastline, crystal-clear waters, and breathtaking mountain views, it's no surprise that Kefalonia is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. Built by fiery volcanoes and sculpted by ice and water, Iceland's landscapes are easily some of the most breathtaking on the planet. This is a compilation of some of my favorite FPV shots taken over a week spent traveling around the Island in summer 2021. Locations include Fagradalsfjall volcano, svinafellsjokull glacier, Hengifoss waterfall, mulagljufur canyon, vestmannaeyjar, seydisfjordur, haifoss waterfall, fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, hvitserkur, Vik, sólheimajökull glacier, and selfoss waterfall. Scuba diving around Lighthouse reef atoll off the coast of Belize back in May 2021. The reefs here were very healthy with an abundance of reef sharks, grouper, rays, turtles, and many species of colorful fish. We stayed at Itza resort on Long Caye and dove many sites around the atoll including the aquarium and the famous blue hole. Shot with a Panasonic Lumix GH5 with 7-14mm and 25mm f1.7 Meikon underwater housing and 8in dome port. Drones- mavic air2 and DJI fpv with GoPro 8

My first FPV Edit! This was shot over a week while visiting the beautiful Greek island of Crete. Locations include the city of Chania with its old Venetian port, Balos beach, Paleochora, Gialiskari Beach, Loutro, Agia Roumeli, Knossos palace, and Skinaria beach near Plakias. Crete is truly an incredible place with beautiful beaches, rugged mountain landscapes, ancient cities, and of course delicious food. I tried my best to capture it in a new way with my FPV drone. I filmed the entire video with the DJI FPV drone along with a GoPro 8 mounted on top. The footage was then stabilized using realsteadygo. I started flying the DJI FPV drone a few months ago and am loving it

This is a compilation of gopro clips from our snorkel trip to Molokini Crater and turtle town (Makena Beach) in Maui Hawaii. The coral around the crater was very healthy compared to reefs on the main island of Maui. The front side of the crater had beautiful reefs that were more shallow. I free dove to around 30 ft and placed my gopro at the bottom to get some of the shots there. The backside of the crater was an incredible site. Underwater cliffs seemed to drop down infinitely and the clear water made it possible to see down over a hundred ft. I free dove to around 60 ft to get some shots there. After this the boat took us to Makena beach on mainland Maui to see some turtles. I used a Gopro 3+ attached to a DIY underwater rig with handles to stabilized the shot while swimming and a gorilla pod attached to the bottom so I could position the camera on the reef to get some close up shots. I also used a backscatter shallow filter 5-25 ft to help with color correction. I also used final cut Pro X to help more with the color correction. Thanks to Blue Water Rafting for a great tour.

spent this past week (Sept 2023) traveling through Uganda and was totally blown away by the scenery and wildlife. Uganda is a bit lesser-known compared to other more popular destinations in East Africa but it definitely did not disappoint. I had the opportunity to capture FPV drone footage in a number of Uganda's national parks. Locations include Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park(Kazinga channel), Lake Mburo National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It's been a dream of mine for a while to capture African wildlife from this new perspective and I hope you enjoy the shots! Everything was shot on a 5in FPV drone with a GoPro Hero11 Mini All filming was done with the proper permits and approval from Uganda Wildlife Authority, UPDF and other necessary entities. Thanks to my guides Ole with Maasai African Guides and Ronnie with Wild Untouched Adventures for putting in so much work to get these permits approved. Believe me, it’s not an easy process. We had to start applying over 3 months in advance and still ran into problems. Please do not attempt to fly a drone in Uganda without all of the proper permits. You can end up in jail very easily. Ethical questions of flying drones in close proximity to wildlife. This is likely to come up in comments so I want to address it. Drones have been used for years to capture wildlife in natural history films but fpv drones are a newer technology to this area of filmmaking. Where traditional drones can capture nice shots from a distance FPV drones are meant to be right in the action flying close to a subject. This does pose some issues. Animals are extremely sensitive to their surroundings so it's pretty well impossible to fly a drone without an animal knowing. Some animals are easily spooked by drones while others don’t seem to mind. Overall I think the important thing is to limit the stress on individual animals. That might mean only following an animal for a brief few seconds before leaving it alone or staying further back and cropping in on the shot in post (which I did in many cases). It can be easy to get carried away and chase the animal for longer but it’s up to the drone pilot and professional guides/wildlife experts to be respectful and determine boundaries. This was a learning experience for me as every animal, even different individuals, from the same species, can react differently to the drone. I'll give a general overview of my experiences.

Located off the coast of Sicily, Stromboli is one of the most active volcanos on earth and has been erupting almost continuously for the past 2000 years. I had the chance to visit the island in September 2022 and capture these spectacular volcanic eruptions. It is no longer permitted to hike to the top of the volcano so I flew the drones from the viewpoints at 400m and 300m. I used the 6" BOB57 and Chimera 7 Pro FPV drones from Iflight with a GoPro Hero 10 bones. No drones were harmed making this video aside from some propeller damage after being hit by a few chunks of flying lava rock. I was fortunate that one of the vents was constantly spraying lava in addition to having larger explosions every 20 or so minutes.

The result is a more realistic and natural image with richer colors, brighter whites, deeper blacks, and plenty of detail for dark, shadowy scenes. FPV drone flight up the Matterhorn's epic Hornli ridge. I've wanted to try this flight for a while and finally went for it during my month in Switzerland this winter (2022). I flew an Iflight Chimera 7 with DJI air unit and crossfire. The video was shot on a GoPro Hero 10 in 5K 30 and stabilized in Realsteadygo.

A short edit I made from footage shot in Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon located just off the ring road in southeast Iceland. The canyon is up to 330ft (100m) deep in spots and was formed over thousands of years of erosion from glacial meltwater. The rock is covered with green grass and mosses and contrasts beautifully with the blueish mineral-filled river running through the center.

Since the creation of a sealed road during the mid-1990s, this remote beach has become one of the premier tourist destinations on the island, and in Europe as a whole. Lefkada is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea, connected to the mainland by a causeway. West coast beaches like Porto Katsiki and Egremni feature sheer cliffs and turquoise waters. The east coast is known for its traditional villages, including the seaside resort of Nydri. In the north, Lefkada town is the island's gateway and capital.
