8 degrees on Coondoo Street this morning (6 yesterday), the water is holding, the Sun is shining and it's going to be another beautiful winters day in Kuranda...

Ye olde Barron River crossing has once again gone under the water...

So...Craig Crawford and the Queensland Labor Party have publicly come out and stated that they will build us a new $450 million dollar bridge by 2031... Is that if they win the following two elections as well? One lane of traffic for the next 6+ years Mr Crawford? Pffft, it's just not good enough!

It's good to see the water level coming back up...we'll probably never see it as low as it's been over these past months again.

We're not sure if the rising water is due to CleanCo having completed work on the weir wall or a result of the rain we've been having...
