WILD SPAYED FILLY FUTURITY INFO: Protect The Harvest arranged for the purchase and spay of 12 Fillies from the Burns, Oregon Wild Horse and Burro Management facility These fillies were sold at the 2017 Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity and will compete in their own reined cow horse division in the 2018 Wild Spayed Filly Futurity, Friday, September 14th in Reno, Nevada during the 2018 Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity. The winner receives $25,000 sponsored by Lucas Oil Products.
The goal of this program is to help find economical, safe solutions in controlling the numbers of horses on American rangelands which will allow people to appreciate them in a healthy, balanced environment in the wild. The reined cow horse competition will showcase their trainability and will hopefully encourage more people to consider a horse from our American rangelands.
