Jesus said He would build His church. (Mt. 16:18) In Acts 2 we see God building the church community. We should seek to emulate this early example of a healthy church community.

Imprisonment and beating could not stop the apostles from "obeying God rather than man" (Acts 5:29). They even went out "rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name" (Acts 5:41).

Why did God give such specific instructions about His sanctuary/temple? What did its symbols and ceremonies mean? Do they have any significance for us today?

You may not have silver and gold to give, but you can offer something of far greater value to people in need.

Confession and repentance lifts burdens so you can be refreshed and "take a breath."

Liar, liar - pants on fire! Let your heat burn with passion for God rather than letting your pants burn because you're lying to the Holy Spirit. God wants your heart more than your money.

Jesus taught His disciples to be persistent in prayer while implying that they should primarily be asking for the very best gift. Watch the video to learn what that gift is.

Will there be a thousand years of peace on Earth? If so, when will it begin? And how will it happen? Who will be living on Earth during the millennium?

Peter and John prayed not for protection from persecution, but for boldness to keep speaking the Word of God like a gushing spring or a flowing river, which cannot be held back.

Are we living in the last days? Is Jesus coming back? If so, when? How can we prepare for the future?

What happens when we die? Is Grandma watching from Heaven? Can we communicate with the dead?

God can bless your mess! There's way more to Matthew's "boring" genealogy in the opening chapter of his book than appears on the surface. Have a closer look and be assured that God is always working to bring about blessings - even when our lives are messy. He understands and He is with us through it all.

What is the mark of the beast? Who will receive it, and how? How can we receive the seal of God instead?

How could a God of love torture people in a flaming inferno for all eternity? Does the Bible really teach that? Or are millions of people believing a lie about God?
