Sie ist die wohl bundesweit bekannteste und wahrscheinlich auch erfolgreichste Polizeidienstgruppe ihrer Art: die Soko Autoposer in Hamburg. Wer es als Fan hochgezüchteter Sportwagen mit dem TÜV nicht ganz so genau nimmt, macht um Hamburg einen weiten Bogen, denn die Spezialisten der Hamburger Polizei kennen sich bestens aus und nehmen es sportlich. Wenn sie einem "Kunden" dann doch nicht nachweisen kann, dass er in Sachen Kfz-Umbau zu viel des Guten gewollt hat, haben sie damit kein Problem, dann hat eben der Autofahrer gewonnen, so Olav Baastrup, Leiter der Dienstgruppe.
In diesem Jahr wird das Team fünf Jahre alt. Wer zu der Sondereinheit kommt, hat sich freiwillig gemeldet und muss ein Händchen für Technik haben. So wie Gregor Lesnik, der gemeinsam mit Olav Baastrup Rowdys und Rasern auf die Schliche kommen will. Denn bei einer Kontrolle geht es oft um Millimeter. Und um Dezibel, wenn der Schalldämpfer zu kurz, das Fahrwerk zu niedrig oder eben das gesamte Fahrzeug zu laut ist. Zusätzlich brauchen die Polizisten viel Menschenkenntnis und Kommunikationsgeschick. Denn mehr noch als schon im normalen Polizeialltag sind die Ausreden der Autotuner manchmal blumig und kreativ oder auch platt und ungeschickt. Habe ich nicht gewusst …, ist zwar als Argument beliebt, zählt aber als Entschuldigung nicht.
Wenn die Beamten etwas zu beanstanden haben, was die Verkehrssicherheit betrifft, wird das Fahrzeug stillgelegt und an einen geheimen Ort gebracht. Denn auch das ist schon vorgekommen, dass Fahrer mit freundlicher Unterstützung ihrer Clique versuchen, ihr Fahrzeug zu befreien. Später dann untersucht ein Sachverständiger die sichergestellten Fahrzeuge, um zweifelsfrei zu dokumentieren, wer Recht hat. Denn sollte ein Auto zu Unrecht eingezogen worden sein kann es für die Polizei teuer werden.
Der NDR begleitet das Team der Soko Autoposer exklusiv auf ihrer Jagd nach zu lauten und illegalen PS-Monstern im Raum Hamburg. Und der Begriff "Jagd" kann dabei manchmal sogar wörtlich genommen werden, denn wenn ein Fahrer die Beamten mit ihrem unauffälligen Videosystem bemerkt, wird schon mal Gas gegeben. Auch wenn die Dienstwagen der Ermittler nicht mehr ganz dem technischen Stand der Poserszene entsprechen, gleichen die Polizisten das bei gelegentlichen Verfolgungsjagden durch fahrerisches Geschick aus. Für die Schrauberszene ist immer Saison, wenn es warm und sonnig wird, dann kommt auch die Poserszene raus. Es ist ja schließlich ihr Kick: zeigen, was man hat.
