We visit a high school celebrating Earth Day and discovered not just one Eco Club...but two! Environmental projects and ecological issues are met with enthusiasm...even with a plastic monster lurking about! See what these guys are doing to tackle the issues.

We wanted to know what restaurants are doing to be sustainable. Jessica and Brendan found a Pizza restaurant that runs their ovens on solar power, an organic hot dog stand that that uses 100% compostable packaging, and an new upscale restaurant that was built sustainably from the ground up. Eco Company really likes these food assignments!

The Athenian School in Danville, CA, is a place where students and teachers alike are doing their part to help the planet. From making bio-diesel fuel from discarded restaurant grease to run the school buses to the organic garden and the solar farm on the school grounds, this school is doing it right.

There a lot of ways to be Eco-Wise. Making compost from food scraps is a great idea!

We recycle our printer paper, newspapers and cardboard, right. Yes, of course you do. But do you know what happens to all it? Eco Company went to a recycled paper mill to see how it all happens, and we were surprised at what it becomes!

Mr. Eco, AKA Brett Edwards is the green-caped crusader who is saving the planet one rap verse at a time. Mr. Eco spreads his message of green living through original rap songs and also performing at local schools when he has a loyal fan base!

Eco Company goes to the Bay Area and the annual Electric Vehicle Rally & Car Show and meet a group of people passionate about their mode of transportation! Jordan gets the scoop on cars, motorcycles, and bikes in ALL shapes and sizes from classic cars to the newest models!

We showed you how Lundberg Family Farms has kids look for duck eggs before the fields are plowed under. What do they do with those eggs? They go to Darrold Daly, the Egg Man! He incubates them, hatches them, and releases them into the wild.

It's a day at the farm for fifth-graders! They're here for the annual Egg Aid at Lundberg Family Farms. Each spring, the cover crops get plowed under before planting the new rice crops. But first they bring kids together to scour the fields looking for duck eggs, saving them from destruction!

Eco Company meets 7 high school students spending 4 weeks of their summer on Santa Cruz Island island as part of an internship program. On the first day our crew finds them hiking around the mountain looking for Santa Cruz Island Foxes! The fox is on the endangered spices list.

The Santa Cruz Island summer interns help to set up hidden cameras in locations around the island to capture images of potential invasive species that are not desirable on the island. They get some pretty interesting videos!

Eco Company visits Santa Cruz Island...the largest of the California Channel Islands! Mostly owned by The Nature Conservancy there are no towns or communities on the island which is about the same size as Manhattan! C's mission is to return the island to its original, and native condition after years of environmental abuse by early private owners.

There is a green alternative to almost any product imaginable. But green guitars? A group of guitar manufacturers are working together to harvest tone wood sustainably and responsibly. Taylor Guitars is doing that and much more.

Riley visits a facility using leftover food and other green waste to generate electricity! This high tech biodigester that uses the gases from the waste to produce power for the UC Davis campus.
