3-10-24 Consider Him: Let Not Your heart be Troubled (John 14:1-3; Hebrews 12:1-12)
When you see to be going through big trials and troubles that are unbearable, remember Jesus and all that He did for you and all that He suffered.

Teaching America's Freedom In Church? For Real?
The Schools have abandoned teaching our children our true foundation of our wonderful blessed country. The government has failed to uphold our constitution and have abandoned our true freedoms. We must not forget our roots, it must be taught somewhere

Integrity in Politics? Is that Possible?
How many times have you heard promises made about something but yet they failed to deliver on their promise. There are a lot of reasons for this, it is always difficult to get a large group of people together to come to an agreement, but it can be done. Integrity means that you think, speak, and act, consistently. It is impossible to have integrity if you say one thing an do another. Integrity means you stand by your principles no matter how popular or unpopular it may be. In politics, integrity gets lost or foggy in the desperate need to keep, hold, and maintain an office.

3-3-24 Paul's Unlawful Imprisonment Acts 23_23-24_27
After the discovery of the plot to Kill Paul by the Jews, The commander Claudius mounts up his soldiers and takes Paul by night to go to Caesarea to Felix to hear his case (Acts 23:23-24). Felix full name is Marcus Antonius Felix and he was a Roman Governor of Judea and occupied that position from 52-60 AD. We know this from the writings of Josephus a Jewish historian who wrote about the time as he witnessed it. The People didn't like Paul's message so they wanted to kill him, but under the protection of Claudius the commander Paul will eventually appeal to Rome.

3-3-24 Evangelism - Not just a foreign Mission Jeremiah 2-19
The Book of Jeremiah is the urging the people of Judah to turn from their sins and go back to God, but as people are, they would refused. That is our mission, warn on impending danger, but leave the results to God.
Jeremiah 2:19 (NKJV)
19 Your own wickedness will correct you, And your backslidings will rebuke you. Know therefore and see
that it is an evil and bitter thing That you have forsaken the LORD your God, And the fear of Me is not in
you,” Says the Lord GOD of hosts.

What? Christian Nationalism? Border Crisis Hurts Citizens
Over Ten million people have crossed our borders in the last three years without proper vetting. We have no idea who is in our country because we have an administration who is incredibly incompetent, or just doesn’t care. They believe there are too many white people in this country and it problem needs to be fixed. We are all brothers and sisters physically and we all came from one seed, Adam and Eve, enough with the racist propaganda and the hateful ideology over the color of a person’s skin.

2-25-24 Paul's Unshakeable Faith - The Plot to Kill Him Thwarted by God's Protection Acts 23-11-22
In Acts 23:11-22, we witness a powerful display of God's protection over Paul amidst a plot to kill him. Despite the sinister schemes of his enemies, God intervenes, revealing His unwavering commitment to Paul's mission and safety. Paul's steadfast faith in Christ and his unyielding dedication to sharing the Gospel serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration in the face of adversity. In the midst of danger, Paul remains resolute, trusting in God's sovereign plan and providential care. His unwavering confidence in the message of Christ's salvation empowers him to boldly proclaim the truth, undeterred by threats or opposition. As we reflect on Paul's example, may we too find courage and assurance in God's protection, knowing that He is faithful to guard and guide us in every circumstance.

2-25-24 Evangelism - Not just a Foreign Mission Jeremiah 2-19
Most of us when we think of evangelism we think of getting on a plane and going to some far distant land to a people group of a different culture for a short period of time. But actually, evangelism is to be our main goal anywhere we are. Evangelism is to purposely seek out lost people, share the message of Christ and salvation in hopes that they repent and are baptized. Evangelism is in our area, where we work, our communities, or families, and our towns. You don’t have to go to some far distant land to evangelize, its right here, all around us. During the time of Jesus and His 3 ½ year ministry, He never traveled more the 200 miles from where He was born, yet He impacted the world and all generations.

2-18-24 Evangelism - A Concern for the World Col 4:1-5
Corruption, LGBTQ, Homosexuality, Climate Change, Digital Currency, Same Sex Marriage, Abortion, sexual immorality, hatred, violence, pornography, if there was ever a time for evangelism, its now! A world in turmoil looking for answers and solutions to all of our problems. We keep looking to the same people hoping that somehow they can solve the problem with humanity. There is only one solution to our problems, but humanity refuses to look in the direction of God.

EPS 1 America's Godly Foundation Jurisdiction 2-16-24
The Bible, and God were highly influential in these documents and the founding of our nation. There is varied evidence of the religious affiliation of some of our founding forefathers and how devout they were to their faith, however, there is little doubt that the United states was founded on Biblical principles. Equality, Liberty, and Justice are certainly biblical principles. Our Forefathers had great respect for God, the Creator and Christianity and certainly guided them in the establishment of the Constitution.
The nature by which our documents are framed are to guide us in moral governing, The constitution is only as good as the people we elect to create, enforce, and interpret it. The Psalmist wrote:
Proverbs 29:2 (NASB95)
When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, But when a wicked man rules, people groan.
Proverbs 16:12 (NASB95)
It is an abomination for kings to commit wicked acts, For a throne is established on righteousness.

2-11-24 A Common Goal - The Christians Call Luke 4-18-19
What is the goal of our Christian life? What are we called to do and how do we do it? Obviously to goal of the Christian life to Glorify God, but beyond that we glorify God by spreading His word around for others to hear giving them and opportunity to be saved. We glorify God by living in His word and sharing His word with those around us. We all should share a common goal to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. All of us should be involved in evangelism in some way. We may not all be called to the mission field, but we can all be involved spreading the word. Jesus instructed his disciples to spread the word of God to the ends of the earth, this was their commission and it is our commission as well:
Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

2-11-24 Paul's Interrogation Acts 23-1-11
After Paul was done speaking to the angry mob, they yelled “Away with Him” and they were intent on killing him. The commander needed to calm the crowd down so he had Paul removed and put in custody. When the commander found out that he was a Roman citizen he was afraid by the way he treated Paul and put him in protective custody.
On the following day the commander had Paul brought be for the Jewish council (the Sanhedrin) to find out why the crowd was in such an uproar and wanted to kill him, but he didn’t have any charges to bring against Paul in order to keep him imprisoned. Paul knew that he had done nothing to violate any law but was accused of teaching about the resurrection of the dead through Jesus Christ. The commander was sure that Paul must be guilty of something and he needed to figure out what it was, otherwise he had no good reason to keep him bound.

Resolute in the Gospel: Facing Opposition with Conviction Acts 22:22-29
The world is hostile to the Christian message and its not going to get any easier. Paul was resolute in his mission to preach Christ and His salvation, but what are we to do in our culture when it becomes hostile to Christians? We are to stand firm as Paul did, the scripture tells us that if God is for us, who can be against us?

The Vision for Evangelism Matt 10:5-11
Last week were talked about the mission of evangelism, and we saw from Christ Himself that He taught the twelve about evangelism and sent them out (Mark 6:7-13), Jesus taught and sent out the 72 (Luke 10-11). We learned last week that the Goal of evangelism is a simple purpose because the ultimate goal for evangelism as Christ told us:
Luke 19:10 (NKJV)
10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
We learned that there were two key points about evangelism:
1. Repentance
2. Remission of Sin

A Nations Cracked Foundation Part 2 Tim 2-4-11
A fractured foundation has major consequences and if the foundation is not repaired, God will wipe the nation clean. America is filled with all kinds of monuments giving the Lord the credit for saving the people. On the east facing side of the Washington monument there is inscribed “Laus deo” meaning “Praise be to God.” In the monument itself are numerous Bible verses engraved on the memorial blocks and it includes phrases like “Holiness to the Lord” (Exodus 28:26, 30:30, Isaiah 23:18, Zechariah 14:20), “Search the Scriptures” (John 5:39), “The memory of the just is blessed” (Proverbs 10:7), “May Heaven to this Union continue its beneficence,” and “In God We Trust.” It’s a reminder of our heritage, our founding, and our forefathers beliefs. But our foundation has been cracked, and if it isn’t repaired, all will be lost from our religious founding.

The Ministry of Reconciliation Acts 22:6-21
2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (NKJV)
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
Paul’s message was that Christ changes your life and in Christ you realize that’s all you need to be saved. The ministry of reconciliation is a ministry that calls us back to God, there is no other way back to God.

The Mission of Evangelism
Just what is evangelism? Why is it important? What is the goal of evangelism. I think Jesus gave us the ultimate example, His words instruct us for evangelism, He sent people out as an example for evangelism. The ultimate goal for evangelism is simple and it is in Christ own words:
Luke 19:10 (NKJV)
10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
That’s a pretty simple message isn’t it? Jesus was in the business to saving people’s lives from an evil and wicked world. We are called to continue to carry out the work the Jesus started. We are called to follow Jesus and carry out the work of the ministry. The church in the New Testament was growing at an enormous rate and they grew in spite of the resources they had. They didn’t have any budgets, buildings, political influence or social status. The church grew because of their priority and they didn’t let much time be wasted.

Those who were before us in the nation clearly identified the pillars by which the nation would be successful and any deviation from these principles would have devastating effects on the constitutional republic.

Keeping our priorities Straight
There is a fundamental foundation to our walk as Christians and that foundation is rooted upon the word of God and Jesus Christ. We are soldiers in God’s army and we are to build on the foundation of His Son, there is no other foundation by which we work.
If the foundation isn’t solid and the foundation begins to crack, it weakens the structure by which it is built. If the foundation of a nation isn’t built upon the foundation of Christ as we see in the previous scriptures, then a person’s freedom is suppressed and immorality will destroy it. Our foundation must be regularly checked for cracks and repaired if needed.

How to Deal with The Lack of Self Confidence 2nd Cor 5:17-19
You don’t have to walk around defeated and feeling worthless. No matter what you have been through, not matter how you were raised, no matter how much you have been put down, shamed, or cut down, you are worth everything to Christ. You are valuable to God, so much so that He had His Son die for you. That is love. People don’t have confidence because they don’t know their true worth in God, you are more worried and concerned about how others think of you rather than what God thinks of you. God knows your hurts and your pains, He knows how you feel, and He wants you to find your-self worth in Him.

How to Deal with - Depression (Psalm 77 Matt 6:25-34)
Many who are depressed have a negative thinking pattern as a result of living in choice two. They have a tendency to live in the past, dwell on things they cannot change, are easily hurt by rejection, and avoid conflict. They will bottle it up all inside and it leads to frustration, anger, despair and hopelessness, this can actually lead to more depression.
When you are in a depressed state like this, you lose your will and can’t think clearly. It becomes very difficult at some point to change this way of thinking.
Philippians 4:8–9 (NKJV)
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

The Courage to Stand Acts 21 Ezekiel 22
God is looking for people to stand in the gap as He was in the time of Ezekiel:
Ezekiel 22:30
What does it mean to stand in the gap? This is an illustration about a wall that encircles a city to protect its people. If there was a breach in the wall it would allow its defenders to hold back the enemy as they tried to enter that city. The wall was the border that kept the people inside safe. If the enemy broke through, they could concentrate all of their effort on that area of the wall to defeat their enemy and prevent them from entering and protect its citizens. If the breach in the wall was left unattended, the enemy would come in and the city would fall and be conquered. To do nothing is to be conquered.
