This is the final leg of our journey. We head out from our camp site near Stone Canyon and make our way through Panamint Valley to the Ballarat Ghost Town. The nude burrows were not there at the time. Then we head into Goler Canyon which brings us eventually into the main drag in Death Valley, ending our adventure in Furnace Creek. We all had an amazing time with one another and it definitely tops the list in one of the most beautiful places I've seen. #deathvalley #deathvalleyadv #adv

We head out from the Ghost Town of Cerro Gordo over the mountain into Death Valley. It was a surprise route as we were originally planning on going back down from where we came and going around the mountains because usually there is snow on the mountain. The local caretaker assured us the pass was fine and we were able to go up and over the mountain pass. It was a treat for sure! The views were spectacular! We had lunch in Panamint Springs and I had probably the best burger I've ever had there! After that we headed back into a canyon and camped for the night. #adv #deathvalley #701enduro

After leaving Reward Mine, we head to Cerro Gordo, a functioning ghost town that the owner is restoring. It was (of course) an amazing ride up to the old mining camp and we had some serious elevation gains to get up there. #cerrogordo #deathvalley #adv

Leaving from Big Pine, CA we head out to Reward Mine and beyond. After an unplanned but welcome night in a motel and a blown head gasket on Mike's fse350r we had to change some plans around. Gary brought the extra bike and trailer back and he went ahead of us and parked the trailer at Furnace Creek and met up with us later. #deathvalley #rewardmine #adv

In this part of the ride, we take off from the Eureka Dunes and through the Inyo mountains and arrive at Big Pine California. Mr. Mike's (aka Toad Moto) bike problems finally come to a conclusion as it blew a head gasket. Luckely it finally died in Big Pine instead of out in the middle of nowhere. If you watched the 1st video, Mike was having some radiator issues at the end of the 1st day and you could smell it as it was overheating. On the second day the bike was starting a lot harder and finally wouldn't start any longer at Big Pine. It turns out the fse450r was being used as a snow bike and the guy didn't seal the water pump housing correctly when he modified the bike. It's a testament to GPX that the engine went for over a hundred miles low and without radiator fluid in the desert at high speeds and technical riding all day! What a solid engine to survive that abuse! We ended up getting a hotel that night as we couldn't get to the campground. None of us complained lol. Poor Gary had to ride all the way bake to Beaty and grab the truck and trailer to get the spare fse300r. He said it was an amazing ride though! #deathvalley #Inyo #adv

After a very cold night riding and then camping I get to finally see what the hot springs look like. I wasn't disappointed as it was a beautiful oasis in the desert that didn't seem like it belonged there. After a nice breakfast we were off through the desert and another canyon to the Eureka Dunes! In February of 2022 I had the opportunity to ride an ADV ride in Death Valley put together by Gary the owner of GPX. I was reunited with my bud Chad from my Everide rally's, and met new friends Scott and Mike (AKA Toad Moto). After I work trip in Las Vegas, Gary and crew picked me up in Vegas and we drove to Beatty Nevada. Unloaded the bikes and packed them up with all our gear and we were on our way! This was my first time at Hancock Quarry Run event in New York. What an event! Very challenging and with the heat and humidity it was brutal! Thankfully the camp is right next to the Delaware river so you can jump in after the ride to cool off. 2 days of very technical rocky hill climbs that go up and up and up! I had the please of meeting Mr. Harlan Seiverling at the Michaux dual sport event in Shippensburg, PA where he had a GPX tent setup to show off the GPX bikes to the masses. He is the regional manager rep overlord of the north east. He helps set up dealers and goes to events to showcase the bikes. I stopped by and met him and secretly recorded him lol. It was really cool meeting him and it's great to see GPX taking off more and more to show off these great bikes and brand. #gpxmoto
