Corner Cafe Radio Interview with Biff Gore
Corner Cafe hosts Rachel Mains and Jamie Daniel loved their chat with The Ambassador of Soul Biff Gore. Biff Gore is a powerful, soul singing Blues and R&B songwriter. His rich vocals earned him a spot on season 6 of The Voice with Team Usher. His grueling blues sound moved him on to the top 8 with Team Blake. After The Voice, Biff returned to Denver to continue on the road of performing and writing new material.
With a background in the biomedical world, God called Biff out of business and into full-time ministry as a Worship Leader and Pastor. Currently, Biff is the Associate Pastor at Highline Community Church and serves as the President of Colorado Right to Life. Biff and his wife Marilyn are the parents to six wonderful children.

As a billboard charting jazz artist/producer, you'll be providing content teaching your skills?
When Darren Rahn was working with Wayman Tisdale on the late great bassist’s chart-topping twist on “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now,” the big guy gave the up and coming saxophonist, producer and emerging recording artist a sound bit of advice Rahn has taken to heart on every subsequent recording endeavor: “Stay in your lane.”
Rahn’s tireless commitment to musical authenticity over the past 18 years has resulted in multiple Grammy nominations and 26 #1 Billboard singles as a solo artist/saxophonist, producer and mix engineer. The multi-talented, Canadian born, Denver based artist’s multi-faceted journey reaches yet another key milestone with the release of Rock The World, a hallmark album that taps perfectly into the Zeitgeist of these anxious times while revealing an ever-evolving artist at the pinnacle of his creative, melodic, spiritual and sonic expressions.

KAPPA STUDIOS -TV & Film: How have you seen your business grow after surrendering it all to Christ?
For over 30 years, KAPPA STUDIOS has been a landmark post-production facility in the Burbank, CA media district down the street from Disney, Warner Bros. and Universal.
Over the past decade, Kappa president Paul Long became increasingly concerned with the content of projects that Kappa was servicing. Paul had a growing desire to only participate in projects that uplift the culture and promote a Christian worldview, and his convictions increasingly caused him to turn away work.

How has being in the ska band Five Iron Frenzy shaped you and your ministry?
"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." ~Matthew 5:16
Chaplain Leanor Ortega Till -
Radically Leading and Loving Through Acts of Compassionate Service
"So many people don’t fit into the church stereotype. The core of my ministry is to cultivate loving and encouraging communities that honor the dignity of the human spirit in sometimes difficult situations. Scum of the Earth Church was the incubator for my early ministry; I curated an art gallery, honed my preaching skills, and served as Director of Women’s Ministry. The richness of the relationships that I’ve made in my community of faith, spanning time and place, is awe-inspiring. At age 40 I felt it was time for me to go beyond the church’s walls and reach those who might never step foot inside its doors. Now I have taken the leap to serve where I feel called: Denver Women's Correctional Facility (prison) as a Chaplain."

Marliyn Gore is partnering with Lifewise Academy to bring the Bible into Colorado schools. Representative Brandon Exford shares how Lifewise Academy partners with local volunteers nationwide to bring Bible studies into local schools. Education plays a huge role in the direction of a nation. We saw a huge shift in worldview around the United States once Bibles were taken out of schools. Lifewsie leverages a Supreme Court ruling, enabling them to plan Bible studies during school hours, off-property. Lifewise is asking for volunteers nationwide to partner with them and bring God back into the school system. All it takes is changing one kid at a time and the entire nation will follow.

How Do We Stand Faithful to Jesus in an Unbiblical Culture?
THIS WEEK'S EPISODE:
"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." ~Hebrews 4:14-16
