vlog How to Lay Concrete Pad and Set Up Game Cameras
Hello Friends! It's Antonio, and I am absolutely thrilled to welcome you back to our beloved ranch!
After a long wait, we are finally Back at The Ranch, eager to embark on a series of projects. Today, we have a few things in store for you. First and foremost, we will demonstrate the process of constructing a sturdy cement slab for our game hoist. This essential structure will provide us with a reliable platform for lifting and maneuvering heavy game, ensuring convenience and efficiency during our outdoor activities. It will also ensure wild hogs can no longer tip the hoist over.
We will also set up a few game trail cameras strategically placed around the property. I aim to capture captivating footage of the diverse wildlife that roams freely in our enchanting surroundings. Prepare to glimps into the lives of various creatures, in future episodes, as they traverse areas of the ranch, granting us a unique perspective on their behavior and habitat.
Lastly, we will undertake the significant task of transferring some water to "the watering hole", specifically intended to cater to the needs of the local wildlife. As responsible stewards of this land, we recognize the importance of maintaining a sustainable ecosystem and nurturing the indigenous animals that call the ranch home. Witness the dedication and care we pour into creating a nurturing environment for these precious creatures.
Joining me on this scorching summer morning is my trusted companion, Pablo. Together, we will channel our energy into accomplishing these endeavors, all while enjoying the beauty of The Ranch and savoring the camaraderie that comes with shared labor.
Before we delve into the day's adventures, I kindly request that you take a moment to show your support by liking, commenting, and subscribing to the channel. Your engagement fuels our passion and encourages us to continue sharing these remarkable experiences with you.
Until next time, when we once again find ourselves Back at The Ranch, take care and stay tuned for even more captivating endeavors that lie ahead!

Fireside Chat with Albert - Dead Rabbit Whiskey Review
Hey everyone, it's Antonio and today I'm sitting fireside with my hunting buddy, Albert Guerra and Betty makes an occasional appearance. We're going to reminisce about a past hunting adventure we went on together where we thought we were going on a wild hog hunt, but it turned into a turkey hunt, which turned in to a rabbit hunt. During this chat, we'll review an Irish Whiskey called Dead Rabbit and talk about the different ways to drink whiskey.
We thought we were going after wild hogs, but ended up getting excited about hearing turkeys in the distance. It turned out to be a great hunting trip and we share some of the details with you.
As we sit fireside sipping on our whiskey, we talk about the different ways to drink it. We share our favorite methods of serving whiskey and I will give you some tips on how to enjoy it the way I like to experience my whiskey.
But before we got into all of that, we also talked about Albert's family history in Texas,The Republic of The Rio Grand and several other South Texas facts. He shares some fascinating stories about his families past and we touch on the topic of an independent nation that existed for a brief period of time in the 1800s.
Thanks for joining us for the fireside today. It's always great to sit down with a good friend and share some stories. We hope you enjoyed the hunting adventure and our discussion about whiskey and Texas history. See you next time!

Found Lost Footage - Hunt Clean Cook Wild Hog
Hello Friends! Antonio here and welcome to Back at The Ranch.
I was backing up files to make room on my computer hard drive and came across some older video footage that I though was lost. Before creating the Back at The Ranch channel I would document some of my visits to our family ranch to share with family. This is one of those videos and I would like to share it with all of you. Please excuse the poor audio and editing, as this video was originally intended for family eyes only.
I found a few older videos as well. Let me know in the comments section below if you would like to see them as well.
Thank you for stopping by. I'll see you next time, when we are Back at The Ranch.

vlog - Catch Clean Cook - Palmito Ranch and Rocket Ranch - Fishing
Hey everyone, it's Antonio! Welcome to Back at The Ranch! Today I'm taking my daughter Jasmine on a fishing trip to South Padre Island in Texas. We're hoping to catch some perch, also known as pin fish, and whiting at the jetties.
On our way there, we made a quick stop near Palmito Ranch, which was the site of the last Civil War Battle. Did you know that this area is also home to SpaceX? They recently made history by launching the largest rocket ever built by mankind.
But, let's get back to the fishing trip! Jasmine and I arrived at South Padre Island and had a blast catching some fish. Jasmine even caught an unexpected fish, which was really exciting. Check out the vlog to see what she caught!
After the fishing is done, I clean the catch and take it home to prepare my famous Fried Rice and Fish dish. I'm really looking forward to showing you all how I make it this dish!
To wrap things up, I will share a slideshow of some of the great fish catches my family and I have had on past trips to South Padre Island. Thanks for joining us on our fishing adventure today, and we'll see you next time, when we are Back at The Ranch!

vlog - Hog Hunt turned Turkey Hunt - Archery with Special Guest Albert Guerra
Hey everyone, it's Antonio and we are Back at The Ranch! In this video, I have a very special guest join me on a wild hog hunt on our beautiful 80-acre family ranch. We were both so excited to get out there and see what kind of action we could find.
After waiting for wild hogs for just over an hour, we heard turkey gobbling in the distance. My guest, who happens to be a certified archery instructor, decided it was time to forget about the hogs and focus on a turkey hunt. We were both up for the challenge!
We searched for a good spot to set up at, we set up some turkey decoys to try and lure in a gobbler. We used Turkey Pot Calls to call in the turkey and it wasn't long before we heard something coming. We were both so excited to see what was coming our way.
We had an amazing time on the turkey hunt, but we weren't done yet! Did someone say rabbit hunt? That's right, we decided to switch things up and go after some rabbits, in place of bacon and eggs. It was a blast chasing these little guys through the brush and seeing who could catch the most. Now the question is, how did the rabbit-hunt video turn out. Find out next episode!
Overall, it was an amazing day on the ranch and I can't wait to share it with all of you. If you enjoyed this video, be sure to like and subscribe for more hunting adventures here at Back at The Ranch. Thanks for watching!

vlog - Turkey Feather Found a Home - Special Easter Hunt
Hey everyone, it's me, Antonio! I wanted to update y'all about my recent hunt. As you know, on my last video, I found a beautiful turkey feather that I just couldn't bear to let go to waste, so I decided to give it a new home on my Easter Western hat. And let me tell you, it looks great!
My family and I are celebrating Easter at my brother's home, which is on a small ranch owned by his father-in-law. We had such a great time playing yard games and having an Easter egg hunt. But what I was most excited about, aside from spending time with family and friends, was our special rabbit hunt and cook.
We value sustainability in my family, and we really appreciate where our food comes from. So, we decided to hunt and cook our own rabbit for Easter dinner. It was an fun experience, and it really brought us all closer together.
Overall, this Easter was one to remember. I feel grateful for my family and the beautiful nature around us that brings us together. Thanks for watching, and I hope you all had a wonderful Easter too!
