"The Siege of Fort Mercer The Battle of Redbank" Oct. 22, 1777
Minutemen Media Historical Documentary
The Battle @ Redbank, the Siege of Fort Mercer Oct. 22 1777 was a resounding but short lived victory for the young American Army. The Fort would be taken the next month but this day saw two Rhode Island regiments take on a highly professional Hessian foe.
It saw a commander vow victory or death and give his life. It saw 80 recently freed Slaves perform in a manner far beyond the expectation. This would set the stage and lead to the freedom of over 5000 men by wars end. The battle would be the second most loss of life for the British in one day during the war.

The Pine Barrens of New Jersey are steeped in lore. During the American Revolution was no exception. Bloody John and his gang The Refugees were Loyalists but more so opportunist criminals who used the vast ancient forest as a base of operations during the conflict. Also known as the Pine Robbers this motley crew wrecked havoc on Patriots and Tories alike. This brief bio also highlights three action participated in by these enemies of the people.

"Col. Francis Barber" -Washington's Best Series (TTACL Extra Short Biography)
This quick Bio is on one of New Jersey's most storied warriors of the Revolutionary War. Francis Barber (1750-1783)
This is a fast moving short Biography Format loaded with tons of information. Some may like the background some may not. Honestly I got mixed reviews on the last one this style. So I made some changes. In this one there is not much text adding extra info as we do in our long format documentaries. Instead we just load it all in the narration. I think it works better for this format. Let me know what you think. I Always welcome criticism and suggestions.
