But Elrod really was arrested as a result of a report of a man carrying a rifle on the railroad tracks on the day that JFK was shot, so the bullshit functions to bury that fact in a shit storm of misaligned facts.

Feb 7, 2023 Tippit was supposedly shot in Oak Cliff. Sgt. Owens was the Oak Cliff supervisor and he was not part of the conspiracy, so the conspiracy plan called for him to be moved out of Oak Cliff so that he would not be around to mess up the shooting event on Tenth Street.
