Mary Ruddick on Learning from Traditional Cultures, the Psyche, Curiosity, Goals, and So much More!
This week we are joined by Mary Ruddick! The episode begins with a discussion on psychology and the amelioration of the psyche. We discuss an internal vs. external approach to healing the psyche, which can be extrapolated to the physical realm. We covered neutrality, humility, seeking comfort in failure, and the power of curiosity and goals. Concepts of purpose and meaning were also pertinent to the conversation.
In the second half of the episode, we discussed Mary's experience exploring many traditional cultures. She highlighted many amazing things that she's learned, and we discuss how we, as a modern people, can learn from these cultures, as they have so much to teach us.
It was an amazing episode. I hope you enjoy it!

Dr. Mark Bailey on Genetics, Empiricism vs Rationalism, Pleiomorphism, Microscopy, and More!
This week we had Dr. Mark Bailey back on to address some questions! We began by discussing Empiricism and Rationalism. Dr. Bailey distinguishes the use of empiricism and rationalism as different epistemological approaches. We discussed true empiricism, through the scientific method and falsifiable scientific statements.
We then discussed the modern-day scapegoat of disease, genetics. Dr. Bailey highlights some interesting experiments conducted. We delve deeper into the connection of genetics and disease, highlighting that largely this entails unscientific, unfalsifiable claims.
Lastly, we discuss the concept of pleiomorphism and the evidence behind it. Dr. Bailey highlights some areas where the moderns admit to the phenomenon as well. We also discuss darkfield microscopy and the problems in modern microscopy.
I hope you enjoy the episode!

How I Cracked the Health and Science Fields by age 24
Not to negate reading, but perspective is the fundamental, most important aspect of learning. Doesn't matter what you're learning, the second you think you know it all, you become close minded.
Close mindedness is the enemy of learning. I know many of you may think my views are absurd. But I am well versed in the modern perspective, and have grown unconvinced.
All I can ask from others is to remain open minded. Going through a period of rethinking everything you know will refine your knowledge.

Robert Whitaker on the Myths of Neurochemical Imbalance, DSM, Environmental Impact, and Much More!
This week we are joined by Robert Whitaker. Mr. Whitaker gives us an amazing take on health, relating it to every facet of life. We discuss Whitaker's journey and how he came to this view of psychology and psychiatry. He explains some of the convincing literature and history that led him to this perspective.
We discuss the fallacies of the neurochemical imbalance hypothesis, the role of the environment in healing as well as its role as a causal factor. We cover some very important aspects of the development of mental health conditions, including how we treat people with these conditions.
We also address the problem with diagnosis, especially with the DSM. We discuss how psychiatry has been medicalized and how pharmaceutical companies pushed the idea of neurochemical imbalance without evidence.
We then explore the natural course of mental health conditions and how psychoactive drugs can inhibit this natural course. This, in turn, affects the ways we study psychiatric drugs and how we treat people.

The Medicalization and Demonization of Mental Health
The DSM is the main reason for the pathologization of mental health. The main problem with mental health is labeling individuals as abnormal. In reality, individuals have normal reactions to abnormal environments. People aren’t dysfunctional, their environment is.
Mental health conditions are not brain pathologies, they are adaptations. We adapt to our environments. Even “severe” mental health conditions are not dysfunction, they are caused by environment. The causes of mental health conditions are the same as all conditions: Toxicity, Deficiency, and Traumas (Psychological or physical). Toxic environments (schools, offices, etc.), deficiencies (nutritional, microbial, nature, sunlight, love, nurture), physical traumas (head contact, etc.), and psychological traumas (abuse, distant parents, etc.).

What you Didn’t Learn About Grammar
Grammar is the structure of language. When we are taught grammar, we are not taught about its relationship to reality. We are taught specific grammar, that has to do with correct sentence formation. Which is necessary and very important.
However, school does not teach us about logic. We are not taught how to think. We are taught what to think. Learning about the philosophy of language and grammar allows us to build a strong foundation in which we can build valuable logical understandings.
This is a very different perspective on logic than you were taught! Enjoy!

Dr. Sophie Fletcher on Embodiment, Somatically Psychology, Healing the Psyche, Psychotherapy, & More
This week we are joined by Dr. Sophie Fletcher. She gives us a beautiful definition of health, relating it to our relationships. This cycles into a discussion on parapersonal space, and embodiment.
We then discuss how our physical bodies can hold on to trauma, or suppressed energy. We discuss how to work though this psychological energy somatically, as well as how to stay on top of it to ensure nothing gets stored.
We discuss the role of the nervous system, and discuss Dr. Fletchers thoughts on psychotherapy. We discuss 'maladaptive patters' and discuss why a neutral standpoint is important in self-assessment. We also have a word about Jung and some of the original psychotherapists!

Paul Leenderste on the Root Cause of Cancer, Suppressed Emotions, Role of Toxicity, and much more!
This week, we are joined by Paul Leenderste to talk about the root cause of cancer. Paul hits us with a truth bomb about the reality of cancer, and it's not what you think! We discuss the philosophy of the root cause and how Paul got to this point.
I offer some pushback to allow Paul to explain the role of toxicity in this process. We discuss how cancer manifests as a fungus in the body. The fungus is certainly not the cause but the bioremediator.
We discuss some very interesting topics surrounding emotions, such as taking on others' emotional trauma depends on your suppressed emotions. We also discuss the philosophy surrounding emotions and suppression. We also talk about how solutions come through responsibility.

Do Quasi-Experiments hold any Value? | Internal and External Validity
The most important take away is that most studies, especially in that of biology, medicine, nutrition, etc., are quasi-experimental. However, we are mislead to believe that they follow a true experimental design to make them more convincing.
The bias within empiricism is rampant, and very problematic. From how we set up the studies, to our observations, to our interpretations.

Dr. Melissa Sell on Germanic Medicine (GNM), Conflicts, Conflict Resolution, Biological Adaptation!
This week we are joined by Dr. Melissa Sell to talk about everything Germanic Medicine also known as German New Medicine. We begin with a great overview of GNM, looking at some specific examples that indicate the beautiful relationship between our experience and our biological responses. Dr. Sell explains how the body biologically adapts to conflicts.
We delve deeper into the differences between chronic and acute disease. We touch on the concept of allergies as well, all tied into how our bodies adapt to our experiences. We discuss how to deal with conflicts, through awareness and consciousness. We cannot stop conflicts from occurring, but we can build resilience by learning how to adapt.
We also touch on the GNM perspective of mental illnesses. We also touch on the importance of understanding GNM, how symptoms and experiences are connected.

Dr. Stephanie Seneff on Deuterium, Glyphosate, Gut Microbes, Mitochondria, and much more!
his week, we are joined by Dr. Stephanie Seneff to talk about everything deuterium. Of course, we begin the discussion by discussing Dr. Seneff's views on health. We move right into discussing deuterium and how glyphosate is a major issue, inhibiting our metabolism from functioning properly.
We then get more specific, discussing how EZ water and deuterium have a significant relationship. We discuss the negatives of having too much deuterium in the body, as well as how the body excretes deuterium. We take a moment to discuss how glyphosate is being sprayed on more than just crops. We also talk about how glyphosate can inhibit protein function and how it was invented, noting how chlorine actually deactivates glyphosate.
We turn to a very interesting topic: the microbiome. We discuss how microbes can bioremediate deuterium and how they play a very important role in the hydrogen-deuterium balance. Lastly, we discuss how to avoid high deuterium in the body!

A challenge for the listener. Can anyone find a systematic review of a germ causing a particular disease?? Seems as though the germ theory has no systematic reviews or meta-analyses. Probably cause the germ theory lacks original research papers considering randomized controlled trials!

Azeem Ali on Iridology, the Electric Body, Rhythm as Health, Crystallization of Trauma, & much more!
This week we are joined by Azeem Ali. We started off with a beautiful description of Health as Rhythm, taking a Steiner's approach to its description. We clarified the differences between rhythm and rigidity in structuring one's day. Rhythm being a flow of life, flexibility, fluidity.
We moved into talking about resistance, conflicts, and traumas, and how these events can physically crystallize in the body. Emphasizing the importance of the ever-present now. This circled into a discussion on the electrical aspect of the body, leading to discussions of the pineal gland, piezoelectricity, and the fallacies of the mechanical construct. Of course, we touched on the detrimental components of electromagnetic frequencies and telecommunication systems.
We shifted the conversation to that of the eyes. We talked about Azeem's wealth of knowledge on iridology. We began with a little history of iridology. We then connected it to energy, emotions, crystallizations, the mental plane, etc. We also touched on the notion of the eyes being the microcosm of the body, a great indicator of disease, and how the eyes tell the story!
We finished with a very interesting tangent on vision coming from the inside out, not the outside in.
I hope you enjoy the episode!

Empiricism vs. Rationalism | Why the Scientific Literature is not Empirical | Scientific Method
In this lecture we discuss two contrasting epistemological approaches to the acquisition of knowledge. This lecture provides an overview of the most debated approaches to knowledge in history. Empiricism vs. Rationalism.
We each philosophical approach, then discuss the strengths of each (i.e., When to use empiricism and when to use rationalism.)
We circle into a discussion on the scientific method, as a branch of empiricism. We discuss how to properly use the scientific method, as well as how the scientific method has been mis implemented. Lastly, we cover some common problems in science.

Michele Bolona on Emotional Release, Storing Emotions, Nervous System Flexibility, and More!
This week, we are joined by Michele Bolona to delve into everything related to emotional release. We begin with a note on fear and its central role in creating our issues, as well as a potential reason for storing emotions in the body.
We discussed the connection of emotions to the body, as well as the connection to the nervous system. Throughout our conversation, we emphasized nervous system flexibility. This led to a discussion on creating safety for ourselves and how holding space can facilitate this process.
We touched on the philosophy of working from the ground up to build a strong foundation. This tied into the themes of redevelopment and reprogramming of both the body and mind. Additionally, we explored the role of movement in processing emotions and its connection to the breath. This discussion also led to exploring ways to induce the sympathetic state to build resilience.
As we neared the end, we specifically addressed Emotional Release, touching on topics such as practitioner burnout, self-care, and even sharing a chat about cats!
We hope you enjoy this episode!

Laws, Models, Hypotheses and Theories | Empiricism
In this week’s episode we explore the differences between Laws, Models, Theories and Hypotheses. We discuss the inductive nature of empiricism, moving from hypotheses to theories. We also contrast Laws vs Theories. We cover how Laws are misrepresented, discuss the use of facts, as well as what makes a fact, a fact.
We tie models into the discussion, as representations of physical phenomena. Models are visual, mathematical, or computer-generated representations of theories. Models can be very misleading, and useless. Often it is a ploy to convince to the visual minds in this world.

Kehlan Morgan on the Philosophy of Science, Scientific Reasoning, Morphic Resonance, and more!
This week, we had Kehlan Morgan on to talk about the philosophy of science. Science has lost touch with philosophy, and in turn, it has lost touch with reasoning, the metaphysical, true empiricism, and reasoning. Kehlan gives an amazing take on health as a sort of cohesion.
We delve into the psyche, touching on Jung's work, which leads us into a conversation about Lamarck, evolution, and morphic resonance.
This quickly turns into a discussion on the scientific method. We touch on the need for presumptions and rationalism in the seemingly empirical scientific method. We also discuss ideas of falsification, true scientific reasoning, and problems with the scientific method. Interestingly, we touch on scientific constants and why mathematical constants might not be the true constants of nature. We talk about ideas from Goethe, Whitehead, British empiricism, and many other phenomenal philosophers.
We finish by talking about the structure of science as problematic (Scientistry) and the need for true science (Scientody). We also discuss the need for the reintegration of the individual in nature and of the sciences in general.
This was a mind-blowing episode that will leave you thirsty for knowledge.
Get your notes ready and enjoy.

The scientific method | Observation to Iteration
The scientific method is a systematic approach used by scientists to investigate natural phenomena, acquire knowledge, and test hypotheses through empirical observation and experimentation. This method emphasizes objectivity, reproducibility, and the use of evidence to support or refute hypotheses.
The scientific literature is devoid of objectivity, reproducibility, and evidence. The literature is polluted with pseudoscientific studies, as the scientific method is rarely used properly, as there is too much of an emphasis on empiricism. The scientific method is slowly getting away from true empiricism as well, but that is a topic for another video.
Note:
When it comes to iteration, I talked mostly about the creation of a good paper. The true purpose of the paper, especially the methods, is to allow for the reproduction of the study. Scientific papers need to be reproduced. Reproducibility is the cornerstone of science. Obviously were in a reproducibility crisis, where most experiments can not reproduce results, indicating how invalid the literature is.
