Jesus: Another King
This video was made with Clipchamp
Good morning, here is today's prayer...
Dear Lord Jesus,
You are my King.
I love You...
We love Him
because He first loved us.
1 John 4:1
I come to worship You, because You came to me and rescued me from my distress.
Jesus, You are my LORD, unlike the 'lords' of this world.
You are my King eternal, unlike the earthly rulers of this world.
I gladly ask You to rule my life.
I trust You, my King of Kings and my Lord of Lords. I will always be yours. Thank You for calling me, choosing me and making me your faithful follower. Revelation 17:14
Come sit upon the throne of my heart and rule my life today and everyday.
In the sovereign name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
Jesus: Another King
There is another king.
Acts 17:7
Jesus is a King not like any king of this world; He is another kind of King. He never came to rule an earthly kingdom. Why should He want outward obedience as given to the kings of this earth when He can rule inwardly the hearts of people? Earthly kings rule by laws and force. But Jesus rules inwardly by love. Earthly kings want their subjects to do things for them. But Jesus first loved us and died for our salvation; then He gave us all the blessings of Heaven and has given us the privilege of serving Him out of love and obedience.
Lord, You are my King; I love You because You first loved me. I come to worship You, because You first came to me.
Jesus is Another King, not like any other king on Earth. Some rule for ego or vanity, and some rule for greed or wealth. Others rule because they carry on the family heritage into which they were born. Jesus rules what He created, because He is God. Jesus rules those whom He redeems, because He is the Savior. Jesus rules what is yielded to Him, because He is the Lord. What will you let Him rule today?
Jesus, You are my Lord. You are unlike the lords of this world; come take my life. You are my King. You are unlike the rulers of this world; I will gladly let You rule my life. Come sit upon the throne of my heart and rule my life today. Amen.

Jesus: Alpha and Omega
This video was made with Clipchamp
Good morning, here is today's prayer...
Dear Father in Heaven,
I praise You my Lord as I start my day.
Thank You for staying close to me, even in my most difficult days...
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18
Please use me to minister in Your Name to the brokenhearted and to those who are crushed in spirit.
Help me to never forget that You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, Savior and Lord, Creator of all.
Thank You Jesus for being my best friend forever...
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
John 15:13-15
Thank You for saving me and setting me upon the solid Rock—Jesus—the One who was and who is and who is to come. Revelation 1:8
Come Lord Jesus.
In the eternal name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
Jesus: Alpha and Omega
"I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End," says the Lord,
"who is and who was and who is to come,
the Almighty.”
Revelation 1:8
Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the completeness of your salvation from the beginning of your salvation on the cross until His second return to take you to glory. Because Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, you don’t have to worry about anything; He will take care of you.
Lord, there are so many little details in my life that I can’t think about them all. When I give too much attention to prayer, I overlook Bible reading. When I give too much attention to family time, I neglect witnessing. Please help me to worry less and to trust you more.
Just as alpha is the beginning of the Greek alphabet, so Jesus helps all believers start their Christian life properly. And as omega is the last letter in the Greek alphabet, so Jesus will carry you safely through to completion. “He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the completeness of your daily sanctification; trust Him to work out all things. Jesus is not only the Beginning and the End; He is everything in between. He is the Alpha and Omega, the entirety of your salvation. When you have Him, you have everything you need.
Lord, I rest in Your completed work for me; it’s comfortable knowing that You’ve done everything that needs to be done. I not only trust You for the big things, but I also trust You for the little things in everyday life. Amen.

The Holy Spirit: The Power of the Highest
Daily Devotion
I am so thankful for Your love and that You have chosen me for Your salvation and You have called me for Your purpose on this earth, as the Apostle Paul wrote...
But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:13-14
I am grateful for Your salvation in Jesus and the power You have given to me through Your Holy Spirit.
As I start this new day, I join the Apostle Paul in saying...
I run straight toward the goal to win the prize
that God's heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus.

The Holy Spirit The Oil of Gladness
This video was made with Clipchamp
Good morning, here is today's prayer...
Dear Lord God,
I don't need to fear anything, because I know that You are able...
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
II Corinthians 9:8
I know You are able...
• to move mountains,
• to heal the sick,
• to save the lost,
• to restore relationships,
• to speak life into existence,
• to meet every need I have today.
I fully commit myself to You.
I pray for the people who are experiencing storms, earthquakes, fires, turmoil, wars, illness, lack of basic needs, insecurity, fear, and addictions that enslave.
Lord, You alone know best how to meet their needs and set them free.
I pray that You would divinely intervene, that each person would be drawn to You and that You would give them rest and healing, safety and security, a sound mind, freedom and a hope-filled future.
I pray that You would help me to see those whom You want me to reach out to today.
Thank You, Lord, for loving me and for abundantly meeting my needs.
In the generous name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
The Holy Spirit: The Oil of Gladness
You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
therefore God, Your God,
has anointed You with the oil of gladness
more than Your companions.
Psalm 45:7
The Holy Spirit is the Oil of Gladness. When He is rubbed into your wounds, He will take away pain and hurt. Just as oil cleanses a wound and washes away impurities, so the Holy Spirit comes to deal with your sin and wash away all remembrances of your iniquities. Do you remember how good it feels when an ache quits hurting? When the Holy Spirit comes to wash away your transgressions, you’ll feel good. The Holy Spirit is the Oil of Gladness to make you rejoice.
Holy Spirit, I need some laughter in my life. Thank You for reminding me of how much I used to hurt. Now it feels good to feel good! Thank You for putting a smile on my face.
The Holy Spirit is the Oil of Gladness to make Christians rejoice. When He convicts of sin, people agonize; but when He brings forgiveness, they rejoice. When people walk into dark shadows of death, they are terrified; but they are glad when they realize that the Holy Spirit is with them. When Satan has tempted people to sin, the Holy Spirit gives them victory. He is the Holy Spirit of gladness that pours the oil of happiness on your wounds.
Holy Spirit, come pour Your oil of gladness into my wounds to heal me. Take away my hurt and sadness. Flow into my life. I have been happy in the past, and I want to feel that way again. Make today a wonderful day. Amen.

Jesus: A Stumbling Block
This video was made with Clipchamp
Here is today's prayer...
Dear Lord God,
The Book of James tells me about the power of my words and of my tongue in James 3:1-12, including these three verses...
But no man can tame the tongue.
It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
With it we bless our God and Father,
and with it we curse men,
who have been made in the similitude of God.
Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing.
My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
James 3:8-10
My tongue is such a little part of my body, and it can do so much good and so much harm.
I can speak words that bless You and words that curse others who are made in Your image.
My words can uplift, encourage, and speak positive things into a person's life and my words can also put down, discourage, and ruin a person's day.
Please forgive me for any of my words that wound others and dishonor You.
I pray that my words will be full of blessings; that my words will draw others to You.
Show me who You want me to bless through my words today.
Please help me to bless others today and that You will be glorified by my words.
In the strong name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
Jesus: A Stumbling Block
But we preach Christ crucified,
to the Jews a stumbling block
and to the Greeks foolishness.
1 Corinthians 1:23
Jesus was a Stumbling Block to many of the Jewish people of His day, although many other Jewish people chose to follow Jesus as their Messiah. They should not have rejected Jesus because He was born a Jew, the Seed of Abraham and the Son of David. They were looking for military deliverance from Rome; Jesus came to deliver them from their bondage to sin. They wanted political peace; Jesus came to give them spiritual peace. They wanted prosperity; Jesus came to give them the riches of Heaven. Many rejected Jesus, a Stumbling Block, because they were looking for the wrong kind of Messiah. Do you know people who are looking for the wrong things from God? How about you? When you seek God, are you looking for the right things?
Jesus, I accept Your offer of spiritual liberty and forgiveness. You came into the world for sinners like me. I will not stumble over the good things You offer.
Jesus is a Stumbling Block to many people today. They don’t expect a humble Savior who submitted to crucifixion. They don’t expect a suffering Servant who was tortured and finally died an ignominious death. They stumble over the idea of “Christ crucified” (1 Corinthians 1:23). But God’s principle is always seen in its opposite expression. To be strong, you must yield. To get, you must give. Christ died that you might live.

Bible Personality Profile: John the Baptist
There is no getting around it John the Baptist was unique. He wore odd clothes in eight strange food and preached in unusual message to the Judeans who went out to the wastelands to see him.
But John did not aim at uniqueness for its own sake. Instead, he aimed at obedience. He knew he had a specific role to play in the world announcing the coming of the savior and he put all his energies into this task. Luke tells us that John was in the wilderness when God's word of direction came to him. John was ready and waiting. The Angel who had announced John's birth to Zacharias had made it clear this child was to be a Nazirite--one set apart for God's service. John remained faithful to that calling.

Jesus He Who Holds the Seven Stars in His Right Hand
This video was made with Clipchamp
Good morning, here is today's prayer...
Dear Lord Jesus,
I praise Your name, which is above all names...
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him
and given Him the name
which is above every name...
Philippians 2:9
I lift up to You all those who are weary in their labors.
I pray for strength, encouragement, peace, motivation, wisdom, guidance, rest, and for provision for their every need.
Please have mercy and lift them up through the power and help that only You can provide.
I know that You will answer the cries of their hearts; that You will revive their exhausted minds and bodies; that You will invigorate their spirits.
Please be their ever-present help and savior...
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:1
For those who suffer from unbelief, help them to believe in You as they see Your love and power at work in their lives.
Thank You Jesus, for Your promise to give rest to all those who labor and are heavy laden....
Come to Me,
all you who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
I pray this in the holy name of Jesus, the name that is above every name,
Amen.
Jesus: He Who Holds the Seven Stars in His Right Hand
These things says He
who holds the seven stars in His right hand,
who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands.
Revelation 2:1
Jesus is He Who Holds the Seven Stars in His Right Hand. These stars were the seven messengers or pastors of the seven churches in Asia Minor (Revelation 2 & Revelation 3). Just as Jesus protected and cared for these seven church leaders, so He will take care of you. You may think you’re alone in the world; but you’re not. You may think that Jesus has forgotten you in your troubles; but you’re really in His hands. Trust Him.
Lord, I will do more. I will be victorious over sin and do exploits. Because I know that You’re hanging on to me, I have more confidence to do more for You.
These seven churches and their leaders were weak and struggling. Some had even lost their first love for Christ. Some churches had sin in their midst, and some churches were enticed by false doctrine. Yet Jesus still held all of them in His hand, and He walked in the middle of them. Since He hung on to those struggling early churches, He can keep you safely in your struggles also. Remember that if you fall, you are not destroyed; nor are you permanently lost. Jesus has you in His hands. He Who Holds the Seven Stars in His Right Hand will hold you safely in His hand and will give you power to overcome (Revelation 2:7).
Lord, give me a listening ear to hear Your instructions (Revelation 2:7), and give me a ready will to obey Your voice. I will turn my back on sin (Revelation 2:6) and will serve You (Revelation 2:3). Amen.
