Phantom Culture - "Smoke", a poem by Wilder Venture
SMOKE
I am watching lazy smoke rise,
with sleep-deprived eyes,
as ethereal bodies dance,
drawing one into a trance,
abeyance is no surprise.
— Wilder Venture
Poetry is a spice that flavors each day.
Without, all is droll and life takes its toll,
becoming easy to lose one's way.

Phantom Culture - Hipbilly, Song No.01 (Bluegrass)
Barefoot poet-bards strumming their way through tender Buffalo grass, a central campfire's flickering flames illuminate happy faces gathered around their covered wagons, enraptured. Fast-forward, say, 150 years but the authenticity, grass-roots appeal of this robust duo is as fresh as the prairie that time long ago.
Hipbilly
1. One half Hippy, one half Hillbilly. High energy accoustic music performed at break-neck speed, with melodies and chord progressions that call to mind everything from bluegrass to Dixieland standards.
2. (adjective) Used in the description of a place where hipbillies live, frequent or have otherwise manifested as their own, like: coffeehouses, bars, folk festivals, college concerts...
Hipbilly could be described as a synthesis of elements - half hippie/half country - and filtered through a state of originality, arriving at a melodic state that can be inspiring, fanciful, dramatic. Think: people dancing in the moonlight on a vast prairie - probably bare-footed if Michael had his way - that kind of open-air mentality.
Michael E. "Dixie" Selter "Dixie" - 12-String Guitar/Baritone Ukelele/Lead Vocals/Songwriter
Brian Phillips - Stand-Up Bass
[Remember: even if you were there then, you weren't this there.]
Note: shot in a very dark bar with a 720p Flip. Later revisiting with better technology made these possible.

Phantom Culture - An Urban Poem: a microfilm by Foleo for Generation iPhone™®
geothermic urban decay haunts
both the waking
and the dead
in ways of portentous
capacities.
hollow dreams afflict
only those without
any hope of resurrection.
idle is as idle does,
but a full throttle
is...
- FOLEO
Foleo makes films that are suggestive, a form of visual poetry - with shelf-life and continuing relevance. A kind of voces magicae.
An Urban Poem - Visual Poetry from Foleo
Poetry: Foleo
Art: Foleo
Music: Foleo
An internationally-recognized, award-winning ceative, Foleo has an extravagant imagination, apparently always has and always will, often imitated, never duplicated.
But does he care?
Not as long as he is willing and able.
They will have to pry the brush from his cold, dead fingers (or perhaps, a camera, or computer mouse).
Once said he generates entire art worlds as he casts about by a leading critic and art historian, it is quite apparent the erudite scholar was not prone to any form of exaggeration.
Expecting an interview or in-depth coverage with Foleo?
Not bloody likely.
We were fortunate to get this and only on promises it would help to promote other creatives.
We promise.
Phantom Culture - The Cups, special encore (Art Punk)
The Cups creed: We're punks because we don't have a choice, we blame society. We done a lot of wrong to ourselves, and a little to others, and now we'd rather just destroy the foundations of music, and rub all our grubby faces in the afterbirth of our excess.
"Buck" the Cups.
